Here is everything including the crater creeper

Woohoo, thanks!

Hmm... the Creeper doesn't look that great, although we didn't see much of it... Still, it's a decent size. I wonder if Green gets a vehicle.

Best I could do from a fleeting glimpse:

It's not a brilliant vehicle but it's a step up at least. It's got a proper windscreen and everything......

Thanks to Durins Bane for posting the video.

/\ If you're confusing it with the custom red squad ship Jargo made a while back, that's too good for words.

Anyway, that video makes me slightly less concerned about the cockpit of the Hive Crawler. It looks quite solid, actually. The little red squad ships look like fast little attack crafts, designed for hit-and-run-like-buggery .

Furthermore, I'm warming up to the Galactic Titan. The little base looks rather impressive for it's size as well. The little centipede vehicle looks quite funny when swished around. It's nice to see that all this greatness comes in one set, and I'm not exaggerating one bit.

It also seems the Hive Crawler uses two red windshields to make a pod on it's back. It's not too impressive, but I'm pretty sure the designers had used up most of their creativity making the two flagships of this line. For some reason, the little pincers and the two parts used to attach the rubber band remind me of a crab's face somehow.

Well, after seeing that, I think I can finally dish out some detailed opinions on GS wave 2.

Galactic Titan:

An absolute MUST-have and possibly the star of the whole theme. From what I've seen, it tops 7066 by a significant margin. Massive size, excellently executed splitting function, TWO substantial side-models for the opposing side (sporting very unique designs) and some fantastic aesthetics. I'd buy the thing for the dropship alone. It's like a Solar Snooper on steroids... SO MUCH YES. The only thing that remains to be seen is the minifigure selection. If it has exclusives, there's no way I'm passing this up.

Hive Crawler:

I'm a little less enthusiastic about this one than I was initially, but still nice overall. As a few people pointed out, the construction leaves more than a few unsightly gaps. Beyond that though it really is quite appealing and probably the most bug-like vehicle yet. The crawling function looks great in motion, if a tiny bit exaggerated. Still no great views of the red vehciles but they look to be a step up. I wouldn't call this a must-have, but it's definitely a good looking set.

Orange Mech (forgot the name):

I'm actually a lot more positive on this one than I was before. Although we haven't seen too much of it yet, I like the way its designed. It's very tall and reminds me a bit of MechWarrior (which always scores points with me). The smaller Insectoid units it comes with are a pretty unimpressive, but that's not really a dealbreaker.

Crater Creeper:

...meh.

/\ The Galactic Titan is (as far as I know) the only set which has the second blue team (human) member and also the only one that features the "armored" alien. Oh, and the only other set which features the "larvae" aliens is the Hive Crawler.

If it's the only one with the new alien, then I'm sold!

At the German Toyfair Jack Fireblade is sporting a space monocle in the CLS-89 mech cockpit.

It's the same head as Solomon Blaze as it lacks the cheekbones of the other Jack Fireblade head. Perhaps a mistake or perhaps just a cheap way for Lego to give him a space monocle.

^ These are also still basically pre-production, so they might not be the final figures. It begs the question, though - do we anticipate the same squad members in this wave as in the first (at least in The States) wave? It's a possibility that we'll see different heads on the second wave. That's all it would take, naturally - different head = different character.

Well we know blue team gets a new member by the box art of the titan. Given that Lego gave all the teams identical torso prints they made it easier to add new members. I would think though that if this second wave is the last of GS then no other new heads. The smaller sets will likely just re-use existing team members and just the Titan gets a new one. It would have been cool if all the new sets had new team members. It must be a lot cheaper to create a new paint tampo than to create a new mould.

I am having a very difficult time finding flaw with this theme. When it is over, I think it may end up being one of the most overall solid themes I can think of. The only other thing I can think of that I'd like is a $200-$300 super ship or base released late this fall to send the theme out on a bang, like LEGO did with the MF Haunted House and the MMV.

Well. I'm glad that the Crater Creeper was actually at the Toy Fair, but in my opinion it is very bad compared to all the other sets in this theme. I can understand why we didn't get any pictures or videos of it before the one posted above now. Even so, the other sets are looking all the more cooler, especially the Hive Crawler. It's too bad that I have to wait until the summer to see these sets on shelves :hmpf_bad: .

Seeing how popular this theme already is, there's a chance LEGO will continue it in 2014.

Yes that's exactly what I've been hoping for for the same reasons... particularly too as the range is so varied already, a huge ship is the only obvious initial thing missing (aside from a base).

I really hope the theme is here to stay for a good while (when it finally gets here to the UK of course!), not 'here today, gone tomorrow'.

I think if there was going to be a huge ship it would have to composed of different vehicles that make up the wave it's in. The primary feature of GS is the split apart vehicles. So vehicles that work as standalone craft that can combine to form a big ship would seem logical. I can't see a massive vehicle being done any other way.

I'm really enthused about this theme, being a huge fan of the Insectoids line. I'll probably only be picking up the insect vehicles (I'm not a fan of vehicles or spaceships) so Star Slicer and Warp Stinger, and Hive Crawler when it releases...though I'm still not 100% what it's supposed to be. It looks like an ant, having six legs and all, but it also kind of resembles a spider, and the Arachnoid Star Base only had six legs, while it was obviously a spider. Either way I'm really looking forward to wave two, if only for the Hive Crawler.

Sorry for the double post, but here are toy fair pics: http://www.toyark.com/news/toy-fair-59/toy-fair-2013-lego-galaxy-squad-images-7240/

The Centipede looks great with all that lime. And the Armored Mosquitoid has extra dark red Exo-Force robot hands to hold the blades! Good job with that fig LEGO, good job. The little Insectoid base is pretty nice for one of two extra models.Very nice little tower.

The Titan itself...Oh My God That Is Bulky. For a moment there I thought the windscreen was made out of three different pieces! And it seems my "double-ended control idea was right. Lol value right there. This set is a definite buy and possibly even a double or triple-buy.

The Mech hasn't changed much. The little jet on it's back looks nice and the two Insectoids have a great wasp-like look.

The Hive Crawler. I thought this one couldn't be improved upon. I was wrong. It includes an Armored Mosquitoid! And it looks really scary in that box pose with it's mandibles. Plus, the Red squad vehicles are perfect. One little glider, with those tr. light blue blades and a sleek, perfect fighter. The egg-launcher looks like it will work really well. Also, the Larvae look like they're meant to be usable both as flying waspy-creatures as well as, when you turn them over, scorpions! This set might be my favorite of all time, tying with the other flagship of this wave, the Galactic Titan. And this one is smaller, so the awesomeness per euro is a lot higher.

The Crater Creeper itself is not so impressive and only useful to give your Insectoids more troops, but the Green Squad vehicle (seemingly piloted by an older squaddie than Chuck Stonebreaker) looks utterly perfect.

This theme is hands-down the best space theme of all time.

Expect the world to blow up if this theme is not coming to my town like what happened with Alien Conquest.

Red exo force arms. I need more red exo force arms.

The mech is fantastic, one of the better mechs Lego has build since Exo Force. I like the build on the back of the legs to prevent it from falling over. The Galactic Titan looks like a combination of the Clone Turbo Tank and the Republic Gunship, in a good way.

Expect the same thing to happen if this theme takes longer than seven months to get here.
