Blimey. I reckon I'll have just enough spare cash this year to buy a few minifigures and nothing more. I suddenly find myself without an income. Such is life. On the plus side I'll finally lose some weight.... May have to start selling stuff though. May. I'll resist that option. I hate parting with things. In the meantime I'll have to settle for a small number of squaddies and utilise my hoard of bricks and pieces to make my own vehicles. And get to grips with LDD.

I'm really wanting to broaden my collection, so any opinions on the Swarm Interceptor and the Warp Stinger (moreso the latter)? They look pretty cool, and I'd love to get a Mosquitoid (is that we're calling them?).

Don't let him chew on your Buggoids . Pretty good collection, anyway.

He chewed up a Technic beam once.

Finally picked up the orange team polybag today at Walmat. I think it was the last one as someone had hidden it behind some city sets along with 2 Chima polybags.

My dog doesn't like the corners on Lego bricks. Though that doesn't stop him snuffling through the huge pile of parts on the floor when I'm building. I like to think he's helping.

Annyhoo, I'm gearing up to get stuck in to my next red team vehicle. Too much stressful stuff going on in real life so I need a diversion. I've got a rough idea of what i want to achieve but as always that will change as i fiddle with pieces and connections. It'll be bigger than my Galaxy RAIDr though. Hopefully have moving parts and definitely have split off smaller vehicles. More on that as i progress.

I'm trying to decide what sort of enemy my GS will be facing as I don't like the insectoids. I'm leaning towards robots but that seems too easy. What's hip with the kids these days?

You need bad guys? There's nothing badder than Blacktrons! (The original ones, anyway...)

Zawmbies, the kids love 'em!

If you dislike the Insectoids... perhaps you could pit the GS factions against each other? I have been debating doing a GS Civil War MOC... :look:

The idea of red and orange versus blue and green is tempting as Solomon Blaze has it coming. :hmpf_bad:

I've been wanting to do something with Blacktron for a while, but using the CMF and Space Police Blacktron torsos. Maybe with evil robots using those new Cyborg Darth Maul legs. Perhaps I'll do that later in the year.

Um...Justin Beiber?

He'd be too late for the fight.

I see what you did there

There's still no word on the release of Galaxy Squad in the UK as of yet, according to the Westfield (formally Cardiff) Lego store manager.

A summer release date is looking more and more apparent...

I thought August or at the earliest late July was confirmed for the UK?

Also Beiberbots sounds like a great idea. It would have to be made from the male Friends minidoll though. Those things look alien.

How about Galaxy Squad Vs. The Borg (or some other sort of cybernetic organism).

"Resistance is Futile"

My favorite enemies for Galaxy Squad would be Blacktron, of course.

My favorite Lego sets for 2013 are for Ninja turtles and Galaxy Squad. But both aren't available in Germany. :sceptic:

I always thought Mr. Google would know the answer to every question. But it seems impossible to find out if or when those lines will see a release in my country. I don't understand why TLG is doing this. Galaxy squad seems to be a great Space theme and the turtles have a great fanbase over here too. Also the TMNT Cartoon airs on germanys nikelodeon channel. So I can't understand why those toys aren't available.

I've always wanted some kind of Redcoats vs Bluecoats scenario in GS. I think some people would be quite happy for war on Solomon *coughJargocough*. However, if the GS game is anything to go on, the Green Team are the best guys, because they're the only team I can complete the second level with. Still waiting for the sets, the release of Hero Factory will probably stop me buying them on Bricklink.

They'll probably be released in the summer. Actually, as far as I know, Galaxy Squad isn't available anywhere in Europe until summer.

I found a bunch of 30230 "Mini Mech" yesterday (along with 30161 "Batmobile", 30213 "Gandalf at Dol Goldur, 30222 "Police Helicopter", 30254 "Razcal's Double-Crosser" and 30240 "Z-95 Headhunter") at my Walmart in Fishkill, NY. They were NOT in the LEGO aisle, nor the Easter aisle. They were, oddly enough, on the other side of the bike racks on the endcap of the LEGO Friends aisle that faced the back wall of the store, top to bottom (about 12 to 14 boxes of them, two polys per box).

Whoah! I need to check my local Walmarts, ASAP and look in non-LEGO aisles. So as far as current, just Walmart has the GS poly?

^ Yes the orange team "Mini Mech" poly has thus far only been found at Walmart.

EDIT: Dang. Every time I decide against quoting...
