commodore_legolas Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Bank seems pretty bland to me, but I like the Sheriffs office, besides the fact that there's no floor… Totally agree. Quote
Captain Settle Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I already have the old bank and sheriffs office, so I don't need Colby City. I really like Comanche camp. Quote
Nebuloid Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 The old western sets totally went past me as a kid, so I'm really happy they are bringin it (somewhat) back ! Especially love the mine, and the train offcourse. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I already have the original Western theme also, but these sets look awesome and are a great addition to the "theme." I love the figure detailing and the piece usage to build things. This should spark an interest in many people to get back into the Western genre. It seems to be dying otherwise. Quote
just2good Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Quick hit buy! Thanks GRogall! I've been stalking the Kmart listing for weeks now, and then this one comes out of nowhere! I ordered a couple. Quote
The_Creator Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Augh... it's tempting! Indeed, but I'll wait for Target to get them. Quote
just2good Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Indeed, but I'll wait for Target to get them. What's the difference? And, Target usually gets them street date. Didn't it say somewhere that these were releasing April 15th or 19th? Quote
Cammo Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I know this is getting old but really... 30 dollars versus 50 euro (= 64 dollars). That's just outrageous. Especially when it's the only set I was going to buy :/ Excellent job on all the designs though... Hopefully there will be designer videos. Quote

I prefer physically looking at sets before buying them, and I used up my LEGO money for March, possibly longer… Walmart pre-order April 2ed. Edited March 27, 2013 by The_Creator Quote

prozac Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I prefer physically looking at sets before buying them, and I used up my LEGO money for March, possibly longer… Walmart pre-order April 2ed. Its not a preorder for the 2nd...that's just when it arrives to the store for site to store shipping. If you have it shipped tp your house with rush shipping you could get it the 28th or 29th Quote
305Bats Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I prefer physically looking at sets before buying them, and I used up my LEGO money for March, possibly longer… Walmart pre-order April 2ed. Why? The sets are the same,I understand if you were comparing the quality of an action figure, but this makes no sense,to each his own I guess! Quote

The sets are the same,I understand if you were comparing the quality of an action figure, but this makes no sense,to each his own I guess! I just like looking at them before I buy 'em… and I have no trust in the quality of Walmart LEGO sets, from experience and knowing people who have had issues. Quote
305Bats Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 What kind of issues if I may ask? All LEGO sets come from the same place don't they? Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Issues with different retailers is not the subject of this thread. If you want to continue this conversation, take it to PM please. Quote
just2good Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I got my copy of the Colby City set from Walmart! The rest should come tomorrow! For now, I'll leave the review here: Quote
Mr Bill Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 As tempting as getting them NOW from Wal-Smart is, I think I can wait till the local Lego Store gets them so I can get the VIP points, or at TRU if they're having a BOGO deal... --Mr Bill Quote
djmangunz Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Nice review J2G! Shame about your boxes being smashed up. That's one of the biggest reasons why I hate having Lego shipped to my house. But I couldn't hold off on ordering a few of the sets any longer. If you have the mine set, I would love to see a video review on it. Quote
