JeagerEX Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) I saw the sets at Toys R Us today and they looked interesting. Wait a minute, did you noticed those new molded revolvers looks like a real gun. Please "DON'T EVER BUY THOSE SETS" except the Cavalry Builder set because it might be controversial and it has any references to weapons. I already file a complain to the TLG Customer Service regarding this theme. Those new revolvers cannot give to any yellow skinned minifigures especially LEGO City Police and City Robbers. S6 Bandit's black pistol is ok. Edited April 17, 2013 by JeagerEX Quote
Cammo Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) I think the LEGO Lone Ranger website has been uploaded. It's similar to the PotC website with 360 degree spins and such. http://www.lego.com/nl-be/theloneranger/ They also released a new trailer. (go to 'The Lone Ranger' topic in the Multimedia Section for the link.) Edited April 17, 2013 by Cammo Quote

S6 Bandit's black pistol is ok. Seriously? If you want people to back you up, stop pestering...and start using PMs. Also, your opinion is so far down on the scale of importance in my life and I am sure most others feel the same. We don't troll on these forums, so go somewhere else with that behavior. Please. Also, I got the Stagecoach the other day, to with the Silver Mine I already picked up. I just want to reiterate how fantastic these sets are--like, the best in years, imo...coming form someone who is not even interested in LR...just great sets. Quote
8BrickMario Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Thanks for the trailer! Still not a word spoken by Red...shame. At least you get to see more of her gun. The Constitution is the epitome of runaway train! Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Repeter, please leave these matters for Staff to handle. I was already dealing with it. Quote
The_Spectacle Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 My apologies if this is posted already. I didn't go back through all the postings in this thread but does anyone know who/where they will be selling the polybags for this? Quote
Repeter Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Repeter, please leave these matters for Staff to handle. I was already dealing with it. Yeah, sorry...I'll be good, promise. ;) I built the stagecoach last night and I love it. At $30, I can't recommend it enough. Quote
The_Creator Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 ... does anyone know who/where they will be selling the polybags for this? Nope, no information yet. Quote

Darth Caedus Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) Stagecoach is inbound and I got the Civil War builder. The Union soldiers are superb, best battle pack Lego has made in years. 10/10 value. Wait a minute, did you noticed those new molded revolvers looks like a real gun. S6 Bandit's black pistol is ok. LOL Troll of the day with that comment. Nice. But seriously, the more realistic the weapons, the better. Don't understand why they stopped doing the excellent guns from the original Batman line. Edited April 19, 2013 by Darth Caedus Quote
The_Spectacle Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Spotted most of the new Lone Ranger sets down at my local Fred Meyer this evening. The only exception being the one that I really wanted which is the Stagecoach. I seriously considered getting the cavalry builder set but I was overwhelmed by feelings of indecision and ended up picking up a couple Series 10 minifigures and leaving. Sets look awfully nice. Peppermint_M Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 ooooh.... The Runaway Train went down the track and she blew... I want that train and the stagecoach. Oh, and the cavalry builder. Too bad about the delay on UK release. Quote
Cammo Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I have a picture request. Can someone post a picture of Cpt. Jack Sparrow's head in combination with the Butch Cavendish headpiece. I think of making a 'regular' Johnny Depp minifig. Quote
Evil Porkchop Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Saw all the sets at TRU today. Didn't pick any up, mostly due to TRUs markup. Was tempted to get the Colby City Showdown, but figured I'd be patient and save some money. Quote

Darth Caedus Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Sorry but thats far from best battle pack LEGO made... with named figure in battle pack this just makes it lame. Not really. It's an excellent battle pack for the following reasons: -generic white horse 2.0 -cheap way to acquire cannon for ships -3 Union soldiers -2 rifles -5 revolvers -assorted stockade pieces, etc. -Lone Ranger figure makes a great Sheriff piece, and has a nice white western hat - just a simple headswap. Leo604 Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Sorry but thats far from best battle pack LEGO made... with named figure in battle pack this just makes it lame. So you're saying the fact that the Lone Ranger is in the battle pack automatically 'makes it lame'? Quote
Bricknblue Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Yeah, I like the fact that most of the minifigures don't have tan chest lines so we can just switch out the heads for yellow ones. I really like that. :) Quote
Alcarin Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 So you're saying the fact that the Lone Ranger is in the battle pack automatically 'makes it lame'? Does not make it lame, but it just does NOT make it BEST battle pack ever. simple as that... Quote
gratefulnat Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 After getting the whole line, I have to say the sets are super! Fun builds, sturdy and packed with play features. LEGO did make a mistake with their box art for 79108 Stagecoach Escape though. The minifigure Barret is depicted incorrectly (in relation to the 1:1 mf picture on the side of the box and the mf's picture on the front) as Kyle, from set 79110 Silver Mine Shootout. The main image and the images on the back are correct. LEGO must have noticed this error before production as they included an extra brown hat and red bandana (but not a second rifle , even though shown on the box with the wrong image they used). Silver Mine Shootout is one of the few sets I've built over the last few years where I have to admit I was glad for the 'idiot proof' instructions, I found the build quite challenging. I certainly hope they continue with this line or release new western sets once the license is finished. Quote
8BrickMario Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) I think there are so many box art errors that LEGO wants us to play "what's wrong with this picture"! Edited April 20, 2013 by 8BrickMario Quote
