A lovely work indeed that captures most of the key locations present during the 111th birthday of Bilbo and Frodo's 33rd (which, sadly, never gets mentioned in the movies despite being of similar importance, as it's the year a hobbit officially counts as adult) :sweet:

Also congratulations on winning the 3rd price, you can be really proud of that creation

A very good and impressive MOC indeed; great job done with this one. I like the whip and the pith helmet in the corner inside Bag End (first thing that came to mind was that you put them there as a nod to Indiana Jones but I might be completely wrong  ); also, great technique used for the candle and it's holder.

A beautiful display piece! I love everything about it, from the greenery of landscape to the interior of Bag End. I especially like the different colors you added to the floor boards in there. The modular approach is brilliant too! Truly inspirational great work!

This is unbelievable! I like the three rows of houses, very neat. The landscape is done wonderfully. The walking path and the hills. The mini-map of the Shire is cool, as well.

Hi everyone

Thanks for such a mass of feedback!

I will do my best at the next MOC, but such big MOCs needs a lot of time and bricks.

Befor the next big MOC i have first to deconstruct my Hobbiton, i need the bricks.

Feel free to post more comments.

Wow, this is a really amazing MOC! I love how you fitted in all the little details in the living room or the kitchen of the Hobbit hole

I really love the big tree. The way you built it, it looks really ancient!

A really wonderful work! Thank you for sharing!

Not to repeat what everyone else said, but wow! In your second post where you showed the pic of Bilbo, I can't help but notice that lovely chair out front...that is truly a great piece!

Absolutely beautiful - you've really captured both the look and the spirit of the Shire. Everything is neat, but not so orderly that it looses a sense of being organic. The benches are all at slightly different angles, as are the barrels. Touches like that make an incredible difference in making a scene feel alive and lived-in.

With such a large scene you could be forgiven for skimping on details, but you haven't. I'm especially impressed with the care you put into the woodwork. Your use of crates for the side of the stage works perfectly, and that chair next to Bilbo is simply extraordinary. You even built the beehives - have you by any chance visited the set in Matamata?
