hello

i am trying to connect an angle plate 1x2 1x4 and a technic brick 1x2 (with 2 holes) so that the technic brick is connected via the 2 holes to the 1x2 plate on the angle plate. LDD does not accept this....

is there any way around to connect those?

many thanks

Marc

No, I also tried that.

It seems that into these holes (on techinc brick) can only be applied axles, connectors and simmilar pieces.

Well technically this is considered an illegal connection by TLG, because using more than one hole makes the clutch power to high.

This would mean that two 1x1 technic bricks should work, but it doesn't.

The workaround is to put two 1x1 plates between the bracket and two 1x1 technic bricks. However that means putting an extra plate thickness between the bracket and the brick.

Oh, and Welcome to Eurobricks, Marc!

Yups otherwise it will become an illegal connection (like Vincent posted while I was typing ;)). Sometimes very annoying, but not much we can do about it I'm afraid.
