Lasse Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 (edited) I build this MOC in September 2011. Last year there was a LEGO architecture competition at LEGO Fan Weekend in Skærbæk. The rules were: Build a LEGO architecture MOC of a landmark from your home town. I’m living in Roskilde in Denmark. So I decided to build Roskilde Cathedral. On September the 21th I got a surprise. My MOC has been blogged by The Brothers Bricks: http://www.brothers-brick.com/2011/09/21/roskilde-domkirke/ In the competition my MOC won the 2nd price. Here is some information about the cathedral: Edited September 15, 2012 by Lasse Quote
JopieK Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 You did a great job there!!! Nice details, nice colors! Sand green will be almost impossible for such an items I guess?! Quote
Legonardo Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Great work and congrats on your placing! ~Legonardo Quote
Rufus Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Oooh - a lovely MOC, and done beautifully in the Architecture style! I will have to ask you to resize you pictures, I'm afraid - the Site Guidelines specify a maximum 800 x 600 pixels. I've left them visible for now, but I'll have to remove the image tags if you don't do this, so please resize them! Thanks for understanding. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Beautifully done! It matches the architecture series nicely Quote
Multiverse Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Wow, that's beatiful. As a fellow Dane, I'm naturally pleased to see this, but I'm really more fond of the Architecture style than of the motive. NPU on the half-rock roof! ;) Quote
TheLegoDr Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 That is a beautiful little build. I love seeing smaller MOCs of grander places. I've really been getting into mini-building, so this is impressive. Keep up the great work. Quote
Kai NRG Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Nice work, I love all the dark red! I would suggest adding a bit of green for trees if you could though. Great job with the spires regardless! Quote
