Kai NRG Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 These sets are definitely Lego bricks, not Duplo, more like basic creator if I had to explain it, one of these sets definitely included the Friends light blue Bicycle from this year. And it was a small set. That sounds quite nice (the light blue bike I mean) - hopefully there are some other small sets with rare pieces! Quote
Wout Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 Is the dog in firetruck a dalmatin ? No, it was a brown one from this year. That smart guys from lego put the exclusive dalmatian only in the expensive fire set the AFOLS otherwise don't buy. It looks like Princess Trollestia works at TLC. Quote

just2good Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Hinkley has pics of the suitcases: http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream And he didn't even post it here! Both suitcases look pretty good. I hope they're cheap. And I really want that lime tree. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 They did a great job making these suitcases. I'm sure they will make great presents for young Lego fans! Quote
Haltiamieli Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) Picture from Brickset: So it really is a new torso, though the dress slope isn't. Hurray! Not sure what I'm gonna do with all those strangely coloured bricks, but there's a good fig and a horse and some useful pieces anyway so it will be worth the price (what ever it is). That's a really lame carriage, by the way Edited October 20, 2012 by Haltiamieli Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Looks like an offly big box for such a small set but if it's somewhere around $10, I'll consider it. I really could use a new style horse! Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Coolness! That looks like an excellent parts pack, to me. Are those castle wall elements available in any other sets in those colors? I see it comes with both the dress-printed slope brick and a regular pair of minifigure legs, which is nice to have for the additional building options it offers. It's strange that they decided to go with black for the legs, though. Presumably if one has the princess riding the horse, one can just use a regular 1x2 brick and plate in place of the legs, so that she still appears to be wearing the white dress. Looks like an offly big box for such a small set but if it's somewhere around $10, I'll consider it. I really could use a new style horse! It looks to me like a regular small box of the same size used for previous "Bricks & More" sets like this, this, this, this, this and so on, which I guess is essentially what this set is. I'm sure it'll be around $10, no more than $12 (in the US, that is, of course). Quote
Gryphon Ink Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I like the pink suitcase. Nice green baseplate, a tree, window parts, cat, printed umbrella, and a bike in a color I don't have. Along with other common but always useful parts, of course. That's a pretty decent parts pack. Quote
Omega 8 Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 I was coming here to share this news, I am excited that the pink castle looks to be a $10-$15 set, much easier to buy multiples and acquire lots of girl-centirc bricks for my daughters..... Link to all of the newly released images http://www.brickset.com/browse/years/?year=2013&Theme=Bricks and More Quote
Haltiamieli Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 They are normal minifigs and the Princess has a blue dress As there's not that much blue in the final dress design of the princess, I wonder whether the preliminary one was different to this? Quote
Aanchir Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 And the award for worst new piece of 2013 goes to... this right here. It's gonna be a tough one to beat, that's for sure. Bricks & More, I thought I knew you better than this. I guess the "For Young Builders" tagline is being taken a bit more seriously than I imagined... Quote
Walter Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Wow. Just wow. Its like 7+ pieces moulded together. Quote
Arigomi Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 My count comes to 11 parts fused together. 4 fenders/wheel wells 2 snot plates for the front and back 2 long bricks for the sides 2 plates with wheel axles 1 plate on the bottom to hold everything together Quote
Ondra Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I think this piece is going to city line, I hope my prediction are not true .P.s.:This piece is worse than whole junior theme that started before millenium. Quote

Eww, that looks like something that came from the Jack Stone line, or something that belongs to one of those McDonalds happy meal toys. Quote
xtremegoogler Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 That gigantic piece is a part of set 10661, as confirmed by page 22 of the instructions. instructions here: http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6033896.pdf Quote
Front Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 4 year old boys would like to build a car too. They can now. AFOL are not the target group for 4+ sets Erland Part Design Quote
Aanchir Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I think this piece is going to city line, I hope my prediction are not true .P.s.:This piece is worse than whole junior theme that started before millenium. No, definitely not going to City. There's absolutely no reason to think that when LEGO City sets have been getting consistently more complex over the years. Eww, that looks like something that came from the Jack Stone line, or something that belongs to one of those McDonalds happy meal toys. I liked the Jack Stone line a lot more, actually, because it integrated Technic connections heavily. This has the SNOT connections on the front and back that allow for more diverse building, but the sides are quite bare, whereas the typical Jack Stone chassis had Technic holes on every side. 4 year old boys would like to build a car too. They can now. AFOL are not the target group for 4+ sets Erland Part Design Yeah, but I was kind of hoping that the "for young builders" line would be something like the typical Bricks & More sets that make viable parts packs or brick packs for non-FOL building competitions. I can understand that it's probably not as bad as I'm making it out to be-- it's just quite a disappointment to me since the Princess set has some nice parts that would appeal to AFOLs, whereas this is the only unique element from the Firefighting set. I was expecting the new wheel wells to be more specialized than those in the City theme, but I didn't expect them to be a part of one solid chassis brick. Quote
Ondra Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) I disagree on some way, this piece is "great" for car so they can reduce many parts in big sets such as this year city garage. Also I think that nowadays city have many useless junior-ized pieces so I not will be shocked when they use this piece. What the hell is "<insert that tiresome argument>" when I try write junior-ized . I think eurobricks is independent forum with freedom in sending messages. This isnt democratic... Crackerjack Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 That car mold is cute but if TLG is going to mold that many pieces together they might as-well just mold the whole car. Quote
tafkatb Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Something I just noticed - 10662 has twelve of the round 1x1 tile with eyeball print, previously only available with the TLG employee exclusive Duck set. This should make it a little easier for those who want to build their own duck! Quote
DrLegostar Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I stumbled across this set on lego.com today http://shop.lego.com/en-US/My-First-LEGO-Princess-10656 It looks cute, lots of bright colors, some white picket fences, one of the new horses, the princess isn't a bad minifigure and it's not expensive. Then I noticed the random pair of black legs. They don't really look like they'd go on the princess, why not white for her? So what's up with that? Half a prince? Did the prince leave his pants behind when he heard the king knocking on the door? Thoughts? Quote
Rufus Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 It's a new 2013 Bricks & More set. Can't comment on the trousers though! Possibly they are in the set in case you want the princess to be able to sit down? I'll merge this into the 2013 Bricks & More thread. Quote
