Posted September 20, 201212 yr I know some people are not a fan of base plates but i like them.I love the 7946 but i found it too small when put next to other buildings so decided to beef it up.
September 20, 201212 yr That is brilliant. I don't have any issues with baseplates. I really like the older castles and this fits perfectly on a baseplate. Keep up the good work! I may have to consider something similar.
September 21, 201212 yr Wow, that's awesome! It really gives new life to that castle. (I always thought it looked a bit small as well.) What set is that baseplate from? I don't recognize it.

Dragon Fortress, Adventurer's theme. Excellent modification, it looks great. A lot like old castle sets; if only LEGO had made it like this.
September 21, 201212 yr Wow! Very nicely done, I always have a hard time getting the buildings to blend into the large baseplates, but you did an excellent job. Keep it up.
September 21, 201212 yr Grat work. Could you give us more photos and some tips have did you built it? Thanks.

September 21, 201212 yr As a huge fan of raised baseplates, I think this looks absolutely great. A huge improvement to the castle.
