Chapter 14

Obtaining the next crystal was a piece of cake.

Apparently Alice was telling the truth about falling through the rabbit hole.

She knew the guardian of the next crystal, the so called Mad Hatter.

Corky little fellow.

He promised to give us the crystal if we would have a cup of tea with him.

Alice warned us that we could drink the tea but that we shouldn't touch any of the food, mumbling something about sudden growth.

Well if she can resist the food in front of her nose, she must be serious.

She never jokes about food.

Thanks! I have to admit I didn't know how many of those little guys I had until I sorted my LEGO out. Turns out, I have quite a lot of them, in a lot of different colors.

About the tea, maybe he stole it, maybe it was given to him, maybe he brought and made it himself, maybe he bought it, who knows I don't, that's for sure!

Thanks, the pocket watch was added last minute. Initially I forgot the rabbit was always in a hurry.

Chapter 15

We arrived at the beach today.

For our next quest we need to travel under water to the realm of the mermaids.

Since we already found 5 crystals I decided it was time for a short break.

So we stopped at the beach for a day of fun activities.

Alice made a replica of our castle made out of sand and roasted marshmallows on a campfire.

Noccio surfed for the better part of the day.

Before he could go in the water I had to apply wood oil to his entire body so his body would resist the water.

He sure knew some awesome tricks on a surfboard.

Even Apprentice was having a good time.

She sunbathed all day, drank cocktails and even slept for a few hours.

It was the perfect day until a bunch of mermaids surfaced from the water.

Crying, sobbing and desperately trying to console each other.

Stupid attention whores.

Apparently they were crying over their sister who sold her beautiful voice for a pair of legs.

Drats, her voice was the 6th crystal.

Now we have to travel the sea searching for the sea witch who took the crystal.

Note to self:

If I ever meet Noccio's father, do compliment him on his knowledge of the male form.

Another excellent chapter! I like the scene for this one too, especially the clear plates over the tan to imitate wet sand.

Thanks! I have most of the MOCs for the story finished. This one was originally 16x16 big (or small for that matter). After a visit to a LEGO store where they had trans blue and light trans blue 1x1 round plates in their PAB wall, I decided to make the MOC bigger. Still not big enough to crop it the way I'd like though... Maybe next time.

Thanks! I've got at least 9 more chapters and I will have some time during winter holiday to write some more.

Chapter 16

Finding the sea witch wasn’t that hard to do.

Apparently Neptune had locked her up for what she did to his daughter.

Whoever said sea witches are fowl beings never met Ursula.

I explained her the whole situation we were in and she was really understanding and more than happy to cooperate.

She handed the crystal to us just like that.

All she asked for in return was a stain of mine and Alice’s hair.

No big deal righ…

Apparently she was never after the crystal.

She just wanted the little mermaid to stop singing which she apparently did 24/7.

Stupid mermaids.

One of the best ones so far. That ocean landscape is just gorgeous.

This whole project is very innovative and filled with striking imagery, but the above picture really stands out to me for some reason. I absolutely love it! I vaguely remember the story it's from, but can't actually recall anything except for those animals standing on top of each other...

Another great scene. I really like the details on the prison.

I though you had left out the beast at first. It took me a while to find him, as he is well camouflaged.
