Darthking623 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Sorry if this is false info so don't get me done but its got an item code so i think it may be true: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=228231 *y* Quote
mutley777 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 It seems that he just made up that picture for a model that he made. It's very well done though 8- Quote
Darth Andrew Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 That's just a MOC on FBTB: http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=17762 :-D Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 It looks like a great MOC IMO ;-) The white circle is not round, and I would imagine that TLC would include more detailed pics on its cover box art. *yoda* Quote
Darthking623 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 O well never mind it does look good though *y* pity its not going to be a real product *n* Quote
Vader Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Yeah that mocs been around for awhile but it sure is one sweet custom, lets hope lego one day gives us one like it. Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Thats pretty nice. I like it.... -ZotS Quote
Axle Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I think they should start making UCS people! They did yoda. How about a nice darth vader head on my shelf. Quote
DoubleT Posted January 20, 2007 Author Posted January 20, 2007 Now why would you like to have our Admin (Vader) there? :-P Quote
Vaders_son Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Well who would not like a Vader on his desk? *vader* Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 A UCS Vader would cost a lot though. -ZotS Quote
OOM-9 Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 I think that Grevious would look better as a bust. I'm suprised that Lego has gone back to Episode I. I mean there are a LOT of sets that they have not done from ROTS still. Even though the first MTT stunk and this new one is great I don't know why they did another Naboo starfighter when they already made a very good one. I would have liked it better if they made one of the FOUR un-made chrome royal starships! Any of these would make me very happy but I think there is hope because Lego has turned its eyes once again to Episode I. Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Well, a lot of PT fans were complaining about the lack of PT sets (a vast majority of SW fans came to it with the PT movies) and '07 clearly shows that TLC wants to please both fans !! The january line up is 50% OT and 50% ROTS, and the july sets are all PT and there will be the much anticipated HOth Base !! So you can be sure to see a lot more PT sets in the future years ;-) *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 You know i really wish lego would mix up the releases alittle bit more, ok 50-50 isnt bad and im not complaining but it would be nice if lego tried to release a set from each film everytime a new line comes out. It could be done with alittle thought, hmmm then again lego + thought= disaster X-D ;-) Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 It could be done with alittle thought, hmmm then again lego + thought= disaster X-D ;-) yeay, I know the feeling looool. However, its getting better and better !! *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Yes the last year or so has been a real good one and for that i thank lego. Now all we need is a sweet hoth set and some more battle packs and ill be really happy. :-) Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Now all we need is a sweet hoth set and some more battle packs and ill be really happy. :-) Ahhh, those were sweet and long battles :'-) Nothing compared to the enslavement of the wookiees in like less than 5 minutes >:-( (a couple of wookiees jumping around and then "all those wookies are dead" crap !! Oh boy Lucas how I hate you for that *skull* ) We definitly need a lot more Endor and Hoth Mfs !! We want MORE !! Are we greedy ?? Hell yeay and proud of it :-P !! *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Now now lets not start picking fault with new films...........if we did we could be here alongggggggg time X-D ;-) Yes were very greedy but then when weve had years with rubbish sets and only re-designs you cant really blame us. Quote
mutley777 Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 :-D *yoda* you so impatient. We don't even know how big the hoth set will be yet and you are already saying you want more minifigs! :-D As for endor well you have seen my love for that. We need han ,leia, rebel troops and luke with a proper endor hat! :-P Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 They have to rerelease some characters in pale. Yellow and Pale don't mix. -ZotS Quote
Starwars4J Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 I think you mean they need to rerelease some characters in Yellow X-D As for the more minifigs thing, I think they were saying in general, not just in the sets :-D But then again, there's no such thing as too many, so it's never enough! OOM-9 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 I think the chances of Lego going back to yellow heads is 1,378,201:1 (as 3PO would say)... If I were to guess at the Hoth set I would say it will be one of these three options: 1) One large (expensive!!-over $100) set like Cloud City that has little sections that will cover important stuff: a section for the wampa cave, a section for the probe droid, a section for the command center, etc. (about 10 figs-Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, Rebel Officer/Tech, 3PO, and four troopers +wampa & tauntauns) 2) One larger set with smaller sets that attach to it (Jabba's Palace): the large part would be the base interior with the add-ons possibly being the wampa cave (wampa, Luke), the probe droid (droid, Han, Chewie, tauntaun, a trench area with a turret (4 troopers), medical area(med droid, FX droid, Luke in tank), etc. with the main set being $60-$80 and each add-on $5-$10 (6 figs in the main set- Liea, 3PO, R2-D2, a Rebel Officer/Tech, 2 troopers) 3)One large set like in #1 without the troopers and an outside trench area (like the landing pad on Cloud City) 6 figs- Luke, Leia, Han, 3PO, 2 Rebel Officers/Techs (around $100) this set will be released with two army builedr sets: Rebels (a turret, 5 troopers) and Imperials: (a speeder bike and 5 snowtroopers) both for around $10 These are my guesses as to what this set will be, and although it would be the most expensive, I'd get choice 3 with two of each army pack. Starwars4J Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 I never said they WOULD, I just said they SHOULD ;-) They'll stick with fleshies for the rest of their licenses, however that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it. I just hope they'll reuse heads in normal sets so we get yellow versions (like the now popular Harry Osborn head) Quote
