Yeah, I'm not really into the USC, just not that interesting. Although I am looking forward to the Hoth base. I think they TLG should stick to the OT, I just don't like the EU, It's not as 'classic' per say. The Crawler is silly. I await Hoth and Endor sets.

I don't know anything about EU, because I am not really a Star Wars Freak, but I think before they do EU sets, they should do the rest of the OT sets... maybe 7663 is a redesign AT- AT ;)

You can bet that before the license ends (2011) we are going to see a lot of redesigned models, and b assured that the AT-AT will be one of them ;-)

TLC is trying to please all the SW fans they can by releasing sets from all the different horizons possible: OT, PT & EU !! I wouldn't be surprised to see Clone War and TV series in a near future ;-)

I've been wondering about the odd cut-off in the bottom of the pic. It doesn't look like a part of any of the known '07 sets and looks kinda like the nose of an X-wing so I think Lego might have made a Z-95 Headhunter.

captaintau brings up a good point: Where is 7663? - I think it is this mystery set.

Although it's sparked a lot of speculation, that cut-off part of a set below the TIE-Crawler is the rear of General Grievous' Starfighter. I know, because I got the set last month.

On the subject of the UCS Falcon, I don't think it's crazy, but it will be very very expensive... maybe as much as the UCS ISD or UCS Death Star 2. With my 2007 budget already blown away by all the cool sets we've seen there's just no way I'm going to be able to get it. But the TIE-Crawler will be mine, oh yes!

And its also the wrong colour, the one in the pic is white yet GG starfighter is dark grey at the back.

I thought that too at first, but upon closer inspection it is not from Grievous' starfighter.

The more I thought about this, the more I think it is something simple and easily explained. Here are my reasons:

1. If the photographer had enough knowledge of Star Wars LEGO to identify the TIE Crawler as being something new and newsworthy surely if this mystery object was another new set, they would have taken photos of it as well.

2. I can't believe that if there was another new set shown, there would not be ANY pictures of it from anyone else who attended.

3. Even if photos were restricted, I would have thought some news or atleast some credible rumor would have surfaced by now.

Anyway, those are my thoughts and I'd love to be proved wrong (it would definitely not be the first time I was wrong.) I seem to remember hearing there was another toy show coming up soon so hopefully, we will get clarification on it soon.

The photographer didn't take many pics at all though (no City, Exo-Force, Space, etc.), so the fact that he didn't take a picture of a set isn't evidence that it wasn't something new.

I searched the net, and there appears to be only two galleries on the internet that show the LEGO from the Toy Fair, and those are the two galleries on Brickshelf that we've seen. So we haven't gotten any pics of the set because we've barely gotten any pics at all.

Well I know for certain that sets 7663-7666 will be released, so there will be something coming out, even if it wasn't shown at the Toy Fair. But why would they show off set 7664 but not set 7663?

I remember that last year, TLC showed NO new sets at that US toy fair, so I have no clues !! (or my memory serves me not well at all !!)

I can't wait to see pics of that Hoth base !!!

That was Comic Con I believe. We were expecting the new 2007 sets, but they weren't shown.

I'm definitely expecting to see the magnet set only because sam said it would come out in Feb. and it's already Feb. *wacko* So definitely expecting to see that *y* I also hope to see the Hoth Base.

Ah, so it is the NY Toy Fair and it is this Sunday! Perfect, at least we don't have too many more days to wait.

Hopefully, we will get some more pics and this mystery ship will be revealed.

Plus, I'd love to see pics of the Hoth Base and UCS Falcon.
