PSPguy Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 That was Comic Con I believe. We were expecting the new 2007 sets, but they weren't shown. I went to comic-con and at the lego booth they said that we would get an EU set but they hadnt thought which one. :-/ Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 How do you know its a Falcon? What if its a TIE Fighter or possibly the Hoth base? -ZotS Quote
sam89 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 How do you know its a Falcon? What if its a TIE Fighter or possibly the Hoth base?-ZotS You mean the 5000 piece set? We know it's the Falcon because we've heard too many rumours for it to be anything else. And think about it - if LEGO was going to release a 5000 piece set, the only contender IMO would be the Falcon. Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 But wasn't it supposed to be off that poll on Star Wars.com? -ZotS Quote
dunamis Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 How do you know its a Falcon? What if its a TIE Fighter or possibly the Hoth base?-ZotS We know both the Hoth Base and Falcon were 'unofficially confirmed'. We are speculating (and hoping) that at least one (or both) are shown this weekend at the NY Toy Fair. Quote
sam89 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 But wasn't it supposed to be off that poll on Star Wars.com?-ZotS I seriously doubt any of those will be released. They were naff :-P Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I liked the electronic AT-AT though. -ZotS Quote
dunamis Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I liked the electronic AT-AT though.-ZotS I doubt they would do another Technic AT-AT since we had one already in the darkside developer kit. I can't think of any Star Wars Technic that has been done since Episode 2 (Hailfire Droid, etc.) Personally, I'd like to see some Episode 3 Technic like a General Grievous. At least they should do something with the new Mindstorms NXT (like something popular like R2D2.) Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 What happend to them anyway? -ZotS Quote
Vader Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 They were dropped for being crap i believe. Quote
Nonpoint Fan Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Would someone be able to upload the pics on Imageshack or Photobucket? The Brickshelf gallery is being modded and I have a feeling these new pics are about to be removed. :( Quote

Axle Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 I seriously doubt any of those will be released. They were naff :-P Has anyone remembered the poll on Lego.com? The imperial Landing craft was an option. It was released(Am I right?). I believe we'll get more sets off that.It could be off the AT-TE(On the Poll) Or Repulic gunship. No episode 2 sets have been out for a while!! Quote

Scouty Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 What sets were on the poll again?-ZotS This thread should say so. :-) . Quote
OOM-9 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I think TLC decided to go with 5 digits after the first feew USCs to seperate them more from the other sets. The UCS X-Wing was a 'test flight' for LEGO to see if UCS would be a hit. (At least I think so.) THis means that we have at least one non-UCS set to look forward to because LEGO would not just overlook a number. It has also been said that we would get through 7666 so this would imply that there are more 'normal' sets. Any USCs that are going to be released we don't yet have a number for. Quote
picklesdynasty Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 X-O I was just browsing S@H and here in the US the Clone Battlepacks are on Backorder for July 15!!!I'd say this has got to be the most popular sets ever for S@H. If they were smart they would keep them on the site for at least 2.5/3 more years, but I doubt if that will happen. Actually, I talked to S@H on the phone the other day, and they said that the droid packs are backordered till september-november. I think its safe to assume that the clones are just as bad, if not worse. |-/ Quote
Vader Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Well if that is the case then its real bad news.....On the other hand hopefully that will be enough for lego to give us even more fig packs. Quote
Starwars4J Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I think that depends more on if they sold less large sets in the timeframe the MF packs have been out, but I'd still say that they made enough to get the idea to do more. -Rebels -Stormies -Gungan -Ep 2 Clones That's what needs to be made Optional generic Jedi set also. And a 501st clone battle pack. Quote
rutmar Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 we have pics from the 10179 UCS falcon on our website It's amazing *wub* *wub* *wub* http://www.lowlug.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t...der=asc&start=0 Quote
