Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Gold C3PO is lovely. *wub* Must have him! -ZotS Quote
CopMike Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Edited & moved to new topic about C-3PO. copmike Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 What? The JSF is 70 bucks here in Canada? oh well, the MTT isn't as bad. It almost has as much peices as the ISD and still has is $10 off. -ZotS Quote
legomilk Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 New 40 euro 75 euro 55 euro 70 euro Those are the prices for this year. It is possible that the prices are a little bit different, this because of the country you're living in Quote
Starwars4J Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 I hope those prices don't stay the same for US dollars...because especially with the MF...I can't afford this all. And Lego doesn't make things available for that long...and I still never got the MF ISD... :'-( :'-( :'-( Quote
Scouty Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 70 euros for the Tie Crawler?? That, to me, would seem wayyyy to expensive. Quote
The Executive Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 500 dollars is way too much for a lego set, I was thinking more like 300 dollars. The SI sounds even better now that its gonna be the cheapest of the new sets. Also, has anyone noticed that the battle droids now all have the new arms ? Quote
Vader Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 If those prices are correct then ill be passing on a few of those new sets, oh well at least i wont be buying that new SI :-X Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 So, is the Chrome C3PO in every 07 set? Or just the summer ones? -ZotS Quote
Starwars4J Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 So, is the Chrome C3PO in every 07 set? Or just the summer ones?-ZotS Just to clarify (even though I think you get the point...I still don't want to mislead anyone), there are only 10,000, randomly distributed. As for which sets, I think it's the summer ones only Quote
captaintau Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I see missile-firing thingy of the Naboo/Droid Fighter set. Quote
Scouty Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I hear d a rumor of TWO hoth sets coming out. I hear that the Millenium Falcon is 15 pounds. Also, info from YakFace.com: "Ok, here is the latest from the LEGO showroom. Images will be up soon. The LEGO Falcon. Point blank, the biggest set ever. 5100 pieces. Biggest price point sure... but here is the information right from the designers mouth. He was given a free run at creating this piece. No price point, no limitation of pieces. So how do you start this gigantic set??? Well this is what he started with. He wanted this not only to be the best set to date, but also the first Ultimate set with mini figs. There will be 5. Luke (with hippie hair style), Han, Leia, Ben, Chewy. Ok, next, not only have the 5 figures.. but make it to scale of the figures.. so where to start. The most logical choice.. the cockpit. Make this set fit 4 in the cockpit, then make the cockpit to scale of the rest of the ship. That is where this started from. Overall, the set took about 4-5 months to create. One side note. It took one full year to make the instruction manual. Like building LEGOS??? The designer took 5 days to build it, for the third time! Now.. 5100 pieces.. what is that??? how about 15lbs for the weight of the ship alone. How about how sturdy. sturdy enough for him to pick it up with one hand.. not for too long.. 15lbs is a lot to lift and hold straight out. He said this is strong enough to hang from the ceiling. The entire frame inside is built with technic and it is built like a rock. There are no NEW pieces in the set, however, when you look at the images, you will see the back top black pieces are the there for the first time in black. For a limited time you can order it with FREE shipping. Doesnt sound like a lot, but shipping on this set alone will probably range about 50 to 60. Not that bad of a deal. As for the rest of the news. There will be a galactic hunt if you will, for the C-3PO that is gold in color (that is shinny gold) inserted into 10,000 random packs starting in June of this year. Could be anyone of the Star Wars sets coming out this year. Also there will be a contest on the LEGO.com site, for your chance to win one of FIVE 14k gold C-3PO mini figs. As I said, look for all these images by tomorrow. Including images of the designer holding the falcon in the air and the two different C-3POs." Quote
Nonpoint Fan Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 The new Sith Infiltrator looks horrible. Just when Lego was going so well the past year or so they give us this. Quote

Dark Brick Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Does anyone know if the figure with the SI will be Darth Maul or a derivitive of that figure? >:-) Also as much as I want the Wanpa too, I am curious is there a Rancor in the works or was there one in the past that I have missed? If anyone has any answers for me let me know. Quote
