Zaktan of the Shadows Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 laser sword? At least it has probe droids. -ZotS Quote
Asuka Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I wonder what the last sentence means? I think you can turn the tracks around the cockpit section.... could be nice for posing. Quote
Scouty Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Amazon.de have descriptions of 7663 and 7664. Here they are, roughly translated:Start the TIE Crawler loosely and go! The cockpit can be opened. Behind it you find two Shadow Stormtrooper pilots. In the center section rockets hide themselves, and in the chain supports you find hidden cannons! Turn the chain supports and the TIE Crawler sets up itself. I wonder what the last sentence means? That sounds odd. Dear, I hope the side "wings" aren't movable. Seek out the Jedi, exactly like Darth Maul into "the dark threat" in the Sith Infiltrator with the Sith Speeder and three clearing-up Droids. For country with the swinging out chassis or open the front. Among them hide themselves clearing-up Droids, telescopes and the laser sword. Open unfold the wings and shoot the rockets! So it comes with the droids! Yay? Well, it comes with droids, but I haven't heard of clearing-up droids?? It could either be the probe droids (which I hope for) or the ones from the deleted scenes of Episode 1 during the podrace where 1 ship crashes, and these droids come out and clean up the field. Well, this is good news! I wonder how lego would do a second wave of podracers? Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 1st of all, either those wheels are for the MTT to move by itself or they are runners for the battlefield cleanup vehicle. If they are, then there are either other wheels, or the 4 stud round smooth bottom ones. Like what made the droid carrier from the battle pack mobile. As for the Tie Crawler, it's so cool I just won't even bother wondering what the last sentence means. As for the Infiltrator, its really cleaned up its act, although there are some things I can complain about, but this review totally changed most of them. Now my only complaint is flimsyness. And that's all. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Tks Sam for the info ;-) Turn the chain supports and the TIE Crawler sets up itself.I wonder what the last sentence means? Could it means this ?? Having the missile launcher opening on the side wings make the Crawler "set up itself" *wacko* I hope to see some great droids with that nasty SI and I wonder if Darth Maul will be the exact same fig (unfortunatly there is like 100% chance of yes) *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I hope to see some great droids with that nasty SI and I wonder if Darth Maul will be the exact same fig (unfortunatly there is like 100% chance of yes) *yoda* Your not the only one, i really dont like the torso and face design on the maul fig. The face is always alittle off colour because of the printing of red on a black fig head and the torso design just dosent look right to me. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 At least there won't be any complaining about a fleshie Maul :-D It would be brilliant if TLC managed a spiked head 8- Quote

xwingyoda Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 :-D Very true mate, it would be great to have a spiked maul but i just cant see how lego could do it unless they were to create a whole new head sculpt. :-/ Well they did it for Kit Fisto in a set where he has nothing to do with to begin with !! KIt Fisto with a JSF + Booster is just wrong looool Lest hope for something a bit different !! After all its an ugly set that cost a lot for what we have seen so far so it would only be justice :-P Like those droids !! I hope its not a MF head + lever |-/ (exactly like in the '99 SI) Anti SI *yoda* Quote

I really cant see how else lego could produce the droids, theyre not exactly big enough to build out of other parts which is a shame as i hated the first versions. Quote
oo7 Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 TLC would never make a spikey Darth Maul. The first thing we clearly see of Maul is a shady concealed character camping out on the outskirts of..............Mos Espa (had to do a little reasearch there) sending out droids to spy on people, and dressed all in black. Basically, he needs his hood. Quote
casewindu Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I'm pretty sure the "wheels" are just slope pieces. i agree :-D that second little craft: how onearth are you supposed to steer it? Quote
Scouty Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 It's the little 2x2 plates that are rounded on the bottom. Somebody posted a pic here a couple pages back :-) . Quote
Legoman Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 we need what i shall call "proof" pics to clear everything up for us Quote
Echo Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Well they did it for Kit Fisto in a set where he has nothing to do with to begin with !! Reminds me of LEGO putting Mace Windu in the Juggernaut. I don't think I am going to get any Star Wars sets this year. I would rather spend my money on Transformers. Quote
SWMAN Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Reminds me of LEGO putting Mace Windu in the Juggernaut. I don't think I am going to get any Star Wars sets this year. I would rather spend my money on Transformers. Lego does this for two reasons. One, fans really want certain figures, no matter what. Two, lego isn't going to make a set that they fit in, so they stick it in something that fans will be fine with. Everybody wanted Mace, considering he would be one of the few black lego people, and people want Fisto a lot. Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Having a spiked Darth Maul head would be awesome yes. -ZotS Quote
Zzz Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 well there are pictures on amazon.de already - nobody noticed / mentioned it? :-) black Stormies look kinda cool, Darth Maul is the old one... and I have no clue how to copy the pics from the st..id amazon page.. :-( just too bad I am only in OT........ Kahgarak Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 If Tantive IV Rebels were to be released, i would like them a bit like this. Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Maybe, but I hope the helmets would be different. -ZotS Quote
DJSaulTNutz Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I disagree...if Tantive IV rebels were to be released...I'd MUCH rather see them look like this: Click here Quote
Starwars4J Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 They'd definitely make a new head mold. Hell, if they did for the AT-ST driver they will for a Tantive IV rebel Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 If Tantive IV Rebels were to be released, i would like them a bit like this. Well, if they do, I would really get pissed >:-( :-X Quote
