Think we could lock this thread and create two new threads, one for the Hoth set and one for the crusier set? Then we would have two much more managable and readable threads, rather than this unwieldy 90 page thread?

I wonder, if because this seems to be (or at least I've heard a rumor to the effect) a TRU exclusive, that didn't do Gunray, because they don't do new molds for such sets. I know they couldn't do new molds for Lego Direct products and I wonder if a similar restriction applies to exclusives?

I am quite disappointed that there is no Hoth wildlife though... makes what would have been a must-buy into a well-I-may-think-about-it-and-if-the-wife-is-ok-with-it-buy... :-(

I agree, two threads would be more effective. And oh yea, Nute tehe. It's a shame it's not to a more realistic scale since the front window panel is seriously small if you want figs in. Ah well, it's a funky set nonetheless :D.

Yes, this 90+ page thread is a tad excess. I wonder if maybe just two pages wouldn't do it justice. I think a MOD should skim through it and make it several topics, for easy discussion.

While that would make sense, it isn't really possible. Most posts address both sets at the same time, so separating them wouldn't be feasible. And to close this only to make two more topics for people to basically c/p their old responses into that one?

Almost. trade rings for battleship and you're there.

Maybe everyone's let down on the hoth set because they were expecting something bigger, eh? (but that's already known.) After looking at it again, I'm liking it a bit more. The crane is nice, and we get a new snowspeeder, not to mention some nice figs. This might be fun to buy a few and combine them to make it closer to what we expected.

A question on the Cruiser: those peices up top that are held up by the technic peice- does that do something, like launch the escape pod?

the cockpit of the RC is probably the same as the one on the sandcrawler (you could only let one jawa drive it!)

I think that the interior will be even simpler than the ISD ;-) Also I fear that the opening mechanism will be too fragile when you try and open it |-/

Anyway, its a good display model ;-)

Actully,Now I love the Hoth Base. It looks goodf enough for me. I prefer to play with my lego than just display it for guests who never come. Lol. NVM that. Anyway on the subject of the RC, someone said the sandcrawlers cock[pit only fit one jawa inside. Can u show me its cockpit?(pics)
