Posted October 1, 201212 yr This is my first GBC module. I will be taking it to BrickCon in Seattle next weekend. i spent around 3 days working on it and just finished it up last night. my son helped a lot and i even got my wife to help put together some of the repetitive sub assemblies. This is the first non-set thing i have built in a long time! life has been so busy, i'm surprised i found the time to build it. i really wanted something to take and show off at BrickCon. one of my helpers The lift motor i got lazy and used a znaps flex axle to power the ball stirrer top of the ball lift the track splits into 2 tracks at the top. direction changer. i did not want to cut the tubing. wanted it to be one continuous piece.
October 1, 201212 yr Very nice! but that seems like a pretty akward way to mount the M motor. the axle seems to be bent a little this way. What are those tubes? these arent standard Lego ones. i'll be very happy for some more details about them.

I've used that technique too and no, the axles are fine. even though the connection is rasied by one hole it still fits perfectly fine. October 1, 201212 yr Very nice, Bob! A HUGE one! The overall design reminds me of your rolling ball clock ;) Any video? Edited October 1, 201212 yr by Philo

A HUGE one! The overall design reminds me of your rolling ball clock ;) Any video? Thanks Philo! yes the lift is from my rolling ball clock. just taller. the video was posted before the photos. is it not working? bo cool module , what about a loop? Or does the balls not weigh enough? i was going to loop and wind the track all around but the tube is to soft and does not hold curves very well. it does straight very good, so i just went with that. bob
October 1, 201212 yr Love it. I'd love to find some of this cable. I'm assuming it's not Lego issued. Where did you get it?
October 2, 201212 yr the video was posted before the photos. is it not working? Or I just missed it! Anyway, works fine now!
