Brickscape Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Just a quick purist TMNT fig... the new version of Rat King... Not sure about the plain black torso and the ratty cape (pun not intended) but they were what I had on hand. Cad Bane's hat would be perfect but it only comes in brown. Quote
Brickscape Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Another couple of purist TMNT minifigs... Rad Brad and Xever before their mutations... Quote
BrickG Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) Show so good. Now I need a Karai minifigure too :/. http://th09.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2013/018/7/f/tmnt_2012__karai_and_leo_by_turtletitan97-d5rx1g0.jpg Some people don't like her design. I don't mind it at all (besides the weirdness with making all females in the series thin as string). Plus her episode was a good one. I'd also love some Space Heroes sets ;p. Funniest part of the new series! I wish I could find some clips of it to share online... unusually morbid but I guess they can do that because it's "fiction WITHIN fiction". super curry max Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) Another couple of purist TMNT minifigs... Kintobor Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) [quoteAnother couple of purist TMNT minifigs... Rad Brad and Xever before their mutations... *Snip* ] That head for Xever is fantastic, and so are the pants but the shirt doesn't look right. "Rad Brad" looks good too. Actually, I haven't seen him without the face mask, so I wouldn't know what to say about its look, but the one you chose looks fine. What set did the heads come in? Brickscape Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 the Dark Ninja from the lair set Is suppose to be brad before transformation isn't it? Is he? I think I've seen all the episodes but I don't remember this Dark Ninja character... If he is Rad Brad, that would make sense. That head for Xever is fantastic, and so are the pants but the shirt doesn't look right. "Rad Brad" looks good too. Actually, I haven't seen him without the face mask, so I wouldn't know what to say about its look, but the one you chose looks fine. What set did the heads come in? The head for Rad Brad is from Thor and Xever is Captain Panaka. I just threw a simple plain torso on Xever. I'm sure there is something better out there. I wasn't a fan of my Rad Brad hair so I changed it. I think this one is a better match... Quote
BrickG Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 The Dark Ninja is a bad interpretation of Bradford. How they get that minifigure from someone who was supposed to be like an evil Chuck Norris I can't understand. Then they gave him crazy eyes for no apparent reason too. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Rad Brad was the Dark Ninja, but now he's DogPound Quote

CMP Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Has this been posted yet? I haven't seen it before. It's another (considerably rare) exclusive figure....looks cool, though I'm not that much into TMNT. Quote

It's another (considerably rare) exclusive figure....looks cool, though I'm not that much into TMNT. I believe it was given out as a special promotion at the Lego Store in NY during last year's Toy Fair. It's a pity that it never ended up in a set. Quote
BrickG Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I'm 27. A full grown d00d. And I keep watching this show and am never disappointed (besides a few little kiddie things and inconsistencies that happened in earlier episodes). This is probably my favorite TV show on TV right now. Bye bye everything else! This show is just fun. I hope we get a set with Justin in it. ;) Quote

TheLegoDr Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I just received a few of the sets from my mom. I was originally underwhelmed with the sets/figures and thought they looked hideous at first. But after looking at the figures, I can see they did a great job with them, even Splinter. They are great memories of my childhood looking at them in LEGO form. The sets themselves will go into the sorting area for MOCs. But I'm loving the main figures that I remember from my childhood. ReZourceman Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I picked some of these up from Argos today. Have not opened them yet, but the Stealth Pursuit one looks freaking TINY for the price. Quote
Repeter Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I picked some of these up from Argos today. Have not opened them yet, but the Stealth Pursuit one looks freaking TINY for the price. I thought it was a typo, the first time I saw the price. The Shredder-cycle thing is also pretty expensive. Quote
BrickG Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I don't mind the prices because there's no ridiculous $160 sets or anything. I usually prefer it when I can actually afford all the sets. Quote
