Yeas dill! I'm sure this will be a store exclusive coming now/soon! :-)

Especially because it says "New Minifigure with gold details." They didn't say that in Ha-Ya-To's jetpack mech. So I think we can assume that this will be the next exo-force set. The kid who already has that set probably has a relative or friend working for LEGO, or he wouldn't get it so early.

Lool, like every EF set IMO :-D

However, this is great for a parts pack, and that torso is really nice ;-)

*yoda*

Am I the only one who find these kind of posts most tiresome?

Wowsirs! This looks like a real whopper. It seems like this is the "Supernova" of 2007! I really dig how the stickers are reflective and the return to more traditional builds while maintaining the exposed interiors look of this year. And LOL at the "EXTREME DANGER" signs on his mech. Extreme Hayato is EXTREEEEEEME. I can't help but notice that there seems to be a slight influence from the new Transformers movie coming up. That "cigar" gun of Hayato's as well as the leg build look alot like the prototype photos of Optimus Prime. Meh, I'm just stretching the truth again. :-D

Aaaanyhoo. I'm sure the click joints are to ensure that the mech can hold the weapons up, as they are quite heavy in appearence. Ball-joints can only take so much strain, which is why I commend LEGO for realizing this and NOT using ball-jointed legs in the new mechs!

Oh, and just in case someone corrects me on my spelling of Hayato again, I prefer to spell it that way, so I spell it that way. The dashes in Hayato's name doesn't make ANY sense whatsoever (Other than to prevent copyright infringement). Afterall, that's like taking a name like "Michael" and turning it into "Mi-ch-ael".

I must say that (if not fake) this gold mechas is probably the best set of 2007 so far !

Welcome back to 2006 and good riddance of Bionicle pieces.

Question to all : What kind of piece of the gold cannon on the left side of the picture ?

Hey, you guys I just noticed something!! The sticker sheet had a couple of stickers for the shield and they say "Danger: Razor Shield." Maybe this is a cooler form of the bladed defense shields!!

Oh, and I saw the missiles too. Sweet!

7714 is called Golden Guardian

From the description of book 4:

As Ha-Ya-To explores a mysterious underground labratory in the Golden City, he comes face-to-face with an enemy more terrifying than Meca One. Ha-Ya-To's only chance for survival? He has to trust a robot!

Interesting, he use a robot-designed mecha? 8-

I agree. Fix the wheels and much is saved.

I'm not familiar with the wheels you're talking about but if they look like giant size R1 Rammer wheels, I'm all for it...

The Giant Wheels from here:

Much better than those green 'motorcycle' wheels the prototype has.

Would make it look more solid and armoured, like a tank instead of a ...whatever it is now...

I dont really know about it, I mean Xenologer you have a point on the wheels but the prototype wheels look pretty cool in neon green.
