I guess we will have to wait for some clever modders that enhance 42009 with this functionality. And hopefully they provide instructions as well ;)

Are the outriggers able to raise the crane when they are not deployed ?

I doubt it, the clutch in the LA will just keep triggering from too much weight making it impossible for it go gain momentum to rotate upwards.

I like how they add the corresponding section to the workbook.

It's nice to see a Technic box stuffed full of parts instead of being 3/4 empty as usual.

The tread looks slightly different but it may just be the lighting.

Umm.. no. The tire is original 62,4 x 20S. On the photo there is only a light reflection and tread seem to be more "deeper" because it is new and shiny :)

The number was changed to 42011, and it is already released.

I'm not very impressed by small or medium Technic sets, but if the price for 42005 will be reasonable - I will have one. It is a nice set with number of usefull parts.
