Vincent Kessels Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 @dvnstt This is another possible solution using a Panel 1 x 4 x 1 (which is possible in LDD): White facade by Mr. Tomato Bread, on Flickr Quote
ArmorGyarados Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 first post, so im probably breaking like 3 rules already. long story short i downloaded LDD a few days ago to get back into legos because i loved them so much as a kid. my only problem is i cant find a piece i know i had years ago. it was basically a 2x2 plate with another set of 4 studs on the bottom, its purpose being to join the bottoms of 2 other bricks. if that brick has been discontinued i understand. if so, is there any other way to join the bottoms of 2 bricks without adding too much bulk? thanks in advanced Quote
Alcom1 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 (edited) That part not only is not in LEGO Digital Designer, but was never developed by LEGO. I know of a Megablok piece existing with that shape, but not a LEGO brick. There are ways to... hold on... images... Edited February 17, 2013 by Alcom1 Quote
dvsntt Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 @dvsntt Here are two quick ideas: Those are great solutions. Thank you. Quote

ArmorGyarados Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Thanks Alcom1 you were right it was megablock, and thanks for the picture they really helped. and thanks legolijntje for keeping things in order Quote
Lego Otaku Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Actually I think that piece started with Tyco. I've seen them and have a few somewhere. Quote
legolijntje Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I moved your post to the correct topic Please use this one if you can't find a brick. You can find the brick in the category with a headlight brick picture, the 3rd category. Quote
Fives Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Hi everyone! I'm rather knew to LDD, and I'm having a tough time finding a piece. It's the technic pin hinge brick. http://cache.lego.com/media/bricks/5/2/4211461.jpg http://cache.lego.com/media/bricks/5/2/6011459.jpg http://cache.lego.com/media/bricks/5/2/4219256.jpg I can't find these parts anywhere, and I really need them for my build. If someone could help me out, that would be great. Quote
Classicsmiley Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 The search box in LDD can be really useful. I just searched for "hinge", and expanded the all of the element sections. The numbers for the two halves of the hinge brick are 3830 and 3831, and the hinge plate is 73983. Quote

Calabar Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 Request moved in the proper topic. Read the first post of this topic for more help. Quote
Greol Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=4235786 I would like to have a piece VERY similar to this in LDD. Its f.king annoying me, that this piece and the lower Toa Metru torso is not in LDD. If anyone can show me a similar piece, I would be thankful. I want to use it to connect a shield on a HF arm piece or for another use, like a knee, elbow, shoulder or even an ankle. Quote
jjakajonas Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Hello there ^^ Im new here on there forum and was thinking now that this post helpt me a bit on the way to build train models in LDD i thort there maybe was some more info i culd find here on the page... Calabar Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 @jjakajonas Welcome to the Digital Section of Eurobricks. I moved your request inside the right topic. Read carefully the first post of this discussion and check if it helps. Quote
Yooha Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Maybe that' not the good topic, but I couldn't find a "general questions" topic? Is there a way to acquire the built-in decorations as separate image files? I cannot find them in the LDD program folder. Quote
Calabar Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 @Yooha Maybe the right discussion was this old one, but the theme is a bit thorny: get resources from LDD deal with the hack of the software, that we decided to don't support or promote. You can read something more about that in the Sections Rules. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Hey does this piece exist in the current LDD http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=x928cx1&in=S It was used in the hockey sets in 2003. Quote
Calabar Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 I don't remember it, maybe it is not in LDD. It is not so strange that LDD don't contains old and particular bricks like this one. Anyway, wait for some other opinion! Quote
UrbanErwin Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Hello, I'm looking for this part in LDD 4.3 and/or the left version. Quote
UrbanErwin Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) That didn't work. I think I'm going to try to create it in MLcad. Edited June 24, 2013 by UrbanErwin Quote
Calabar Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Probably these parts are not in LDD database, then. You could wait these parts will be added someday (you can also request that here to promote them) or use some other LEGO CAD ecosystem (LDRAW based or Mechabricks). Quote
