Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for the following piece and (think) I've looked everywhere..

x873c01.gif?0

It's listed on bricklink as a complete assembly of two separate pieces, but I can't find these either.

Help would be very much appreciated :sweet:

LDD contains only a part of bricks created by LEGO, maybe that brick simply is not present in LDD.

Look at this page (the set 8070 contains that part): if you find the brick there you should retrieve an adequate Design ID that you can use with the search function integrated in LDD.

EDIT: is the part this one? Try then with the Design ID 50301.

@Crist Clapper

Take a look at the LDraw info topic, you can find the link in the Section Index, one of the two pinned topics of this section.

I want to use this part in a model, but am unable to find it anywhere. I searched the forums for the topic already. but encountered lots of posts discussing Windows as an O\S in regards to LDD. Thanks for any insight.

What part? Have you looked on Bricklink or Peeron or something for the exact part to get part #, then while in LDD extended mode, enter the # in search box above part window to see if it's there?

Hey, has anybody found a rod/bar/stick? Like the one Yoda holds.

Thanks!

In most sets, Yoda holds his light sword, however in sets 7958-25, 7260 or 4502, Yoda holds a bar 4L (30374) in reddish brown or brown, which resembles a stick. In LDD this item is confusingly called a Light Sword Blade, although it is nothing but a (reddish) brown bar 4L. Do you mean that item? Or rather some sort of cane or walking stick? 90540 is merely a ski pole, but maybe adequate, too; 90390 or 98134 may fit in an egyptian context, but surely not star wars and Yoda; 13790 and 88001 are rather clubs than sticks: Please render more precisely what exactly you have in mind.

Hi! Well, my question is nearly the opposite of what this topic is intended for... but I hope it is still the best place to ask for.

I have noticed that, under the category "hats/caps/everything you put on the heads of minifigs" of LDD, there is a so-called "Garrison Cap", which looks very similar to both the caps worn by Russian and Allied troops during WWII and the paper hat worn by the Butcher minifig:

The problem is: it seems that this part is present in LDD only. Lego.com says "No results" when asked for part # 4156 in the "Bricks and Pieces" section of the site; at the same time, what Brickshelf tells about 4156 is this: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=494107

My question is: what about this part? Is it a prototype, a banned part or anything else? Does it exist outside LDD and three sad photos on Brickshelf? Thanks.

It reminds me of the hat of the Legoland Ambassador Key Chain minifig:

Since this key chain seems to be exclusive to the legoland parks, it is possible that this part is rather rare and not used elsewhere. But im not certain if this is really part 4156.

@JunkstyleGio

It is not possible, but you can manually separate the hand from the rest of the torso editing the lxf file, and then put the torso aside.

With a search, you can easily find more informations somewhere here in the LDD forum. The post was from bbqqq.

EDIT: here is a technique that exploits the rotation tool.

I cannot locate the old style windows (part 453b or 453bc01 on BL). Can you confirm if these are not available? Thanks.

It's not in LDD, but the 2-wide equivalent is (search in extended mode for "73594"), so perhaps it's just a matter of time before this 4-wide one gets added.

You can search for design IDs in extended mode.

Menu: View > New Themes > LDD Extended

Then tap the ID into the little lozenge at the top of the brick palette.
