Vindicare Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Packers fan here. For college I really like a lot of schools. I always just hope for a good shootout in NCAA. Quote
Chri5kng Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 (edited) You guys watch american sport? I don't think any American watch European sport because they don't even show them. I try watching European football (resemble soccer and american football) (not soccer not world cup) but I didn't quite understand how it work. Edited November 28, 2012 by Chri5kng Quote

Probably won't be this year, Alabama's gonna shred Notre Dame. I was personally hoping LSU would make it and if not Oregon, but...yeah. :/ In other news, Colin Kaepernick seems to be officially starting this week and probably the rest of the season, which means no more starting Alex Smith for me in fantasy. Masked Builder Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 At 4-8, I'm done in fantasy this year. Ah well, it was fun! I'm looking at the Giants schedule, I see them going 9-7. And then I see the Patriots going 12-4. Quote
Tamamono Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Patriots fan right here (although I'm partial to the 49ers as well). This is looking like a pretty good season so far, although the next two games worry me - we need to win at least one of them, preferably against Houston. Quote

But I agree, we'll see how they go, hope they win against Houston. Quote
Leo604 Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 Who do you guys think for the Heisman this year: Johnny Manziel, Manti Te'o, or Collin Klein? Quote

Didn't you know the existence of rugby, played with success all over the world? Never heard of New Zealand All Blacks? LOL Edited December 6, 2012 by Plastic Nurak Quote
Leo604 Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 Johnny Manziel, great player. Yeah, definitely not unexpected. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/texas-m-freshman-manziel-wins-042035101--ncaaf.html Quote

I was personally hoping LSU would make it and if not Oregon, but...yeah. :/ Well you were spot on with your prediction. As for the NFL Divisional Round here are my picks. Patriots over Texans in another blowout. Broncos over Ravens in a close game. Seahawks over Falcons in a game that will show that Russel Wilson should have been rookie of the year not RG3. Packers over 49rs in a shootout. Edited January 9, 2013 by mobricki Quote
Sisco Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Yeah the Chiefs are going to sweep through the AFC West and the- Oh. Right. Very disappointing year for a Chiefs fan. I suppose that I should be grateful that we get the first overall draft pick, but it still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that we went 2-14. Maybe next year... Boy, that sounds familiar. Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Wow, we're already into the playoffs! I see a Denver/Patriots game, and Packers/Falcons. Then onto the superbowl! I think it'd be really cool to see Brady vs. Rodgers. Quote

I think it'd be really cool to see Brady vs. Rodgers. Disagree on your NFC pick; Falcons have been pushovers in terms of their defense so Seattle will almost definitely beat them. GB def also suspect so I'm gonna go with Seahawks/49ers with San Fran winning in OT and then Denver winning it all with Peyton Manning throwing 3 or 4 touchdowns. Quote
JimBee Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I think Seattle will destroy Atlanta. The Falcons have been having easy schedules, it's no wonder they're in the playoffs all the time. The NFC South was pretty bad this year, too. Disappointing, at the very least. I will root for the Texans, but honestly I have no idea of either team's chances. I'll lean towards Denver for their explosive offense (as good as Baltimore's defense is, they didn't look all that great last week). As for the Pack, Saturday's game will be a tough one. The 49ers and the Giants are the two teams that seem to have us figured out, but at least this time around we'll have Woodson, Nelson, and Matthews (as well as most of our other good players). A rematch between Seattle and Green Bay is what I'm hoping for. Revenge for Week 3. Quote
Tamamono Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I see a Denver/Green Bay (or San Francisco) super bowl. As much as I hate to admit it, Denver's been on the up and up lately, and I think even if New England takes down Houston (which I'm sure they will), they'll fall to Denver. In the NFC it's a bit more of a toss-up, though; the only team I really have no faith in at this point is Seattle, who only won their last game because of Griffin's knee. Atlanta might actually get somewhere, but I've never seen them be too successful in the playoffs - they seem to be one of those teams that, in do or die situations, dies. I really can't see anyone other than Denver winning the superbowl this year. It's a real shame. Quote
Leo604 Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Manning was sloppy last night; really wish the Broncos had made it. :/ That being said it'll probably be a Pats/49ers Super Bowl now. Quote
Marvelfan120 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I was bummed denver lost but only because I can't stand the ravens... the 49ers however are me home team so that was awesome Quote
JimBee Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 The Packers' loss was really disappointing. Now the only team to root for is the Ravens. Quote
prateek Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Colin Kaepernick was Beast! I'd like to see 49er's and the Pats for the Super Bowl. Veteran QB in Brady vs. new blood. Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Spent six hours watching football yesterday. Patriots/49's would be a great game, I want a rematch. Quote
Grimmbeard Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 How bout them ravens? Dude that was a great game. Must have meant a lot to Ray Lewis. Still hoping for a Ravens-49ers superbowl! Quote
Leo604 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 Dude that was a great game. Must have meant a lot to Ray Lewis. Still hoping for a Ravens-49ers superbowl! Yeah, a Harbaugh Bowl still seems pretty realistic at this time. Quote
