fbtb, anyone ?

Im not angry at anyone right now, it just made me sad to read this thread (particularly before some stuff was removed today). There's room in cyberspace for more than one Lego site, and my only wish is that we can co-exist in peace and respect eachother.

I think I can speak for the whole FBTB-staff when I say that we have no interest in threads that expresses negative opinions about other websites. If one of our members has a problem with something here at Eurobricks, I would strongly suggest that they move over here to let you know what the problem is. Complaining at FBTB about a Eurobricks problem isn't going to solve anything, just like complaining here about what's wrong with FBTB isn't going to solve anything over there.

And have patience with the registration thing - the staff is working on it.

Well actually if someone was talking about eurobricks on fbtb, i'll knew it since I browse many websites everyday, just to keep me up to date and try to find the last cool stuff available for our folk here *satis*

I think you could learn a lot from what people have to say about fbtb, but most of the time they don't dare to do it in the forum. I truely think that if someone start a thread on fbtb saying : "well maybe we oculd do this", or "well this is not right in my opinion" he'll have some big troubles with most of the members.

Anyway if you guys have ideas for our website, we are really open, even if we don't have a lot of time lately since we have things planned for the incoming months *surprise surprise*

Jipay: about your account being reinactivated: I know that some members had problems with their accounts when they were trying to replace the registration e-mail addres with another one. I have one question about the 'not your billboard' rule. Seems like it prevent you from annoucing any major creation :/ We have a big one in the pipe and it should be presented to the public soon (within some weeks hopefully). How can we advertise on fbtb ? - without breaking the rule of course

No, the rule only states that you can't post a new Thread about "HAY DOODZ COME CHECK OUT MA NEW SITE IT'S REALLY COOL". YOu know, insted of acctually posting a MOC.

It's not okay to make a big "come to Eurobricks, we're the best forum" -post. But I would say that it's okay to put a small link in your signature, according to the here so much ridiculed Code of Conduct:

Personal signatures that are not blatant advertisements will be allowed within reason; keep all personal signatures tasteful and their size to a minimum in consideration of those with slower Internet connections.
