October 14, 201212 yr Jurgen Krooshoop posted information about how to obtain his PDF Building Instructions on this Jurgen's Technic Corner webpage. The model uses these parts: He described it as "A non-PF supercar in the same scale as my Sunbeam Supercar and the Little Devil. The model started as a test for Sheepo’s MPS. I built a couple of his front-axles and rear-axles, and I realized how amazing they are. This inspired me to build a new supercar. I choose the Sweedish supercar Koenigsegg CCX as model. I wanted to make the typical door-mechanism of this car quite some time ago, but I failed back then. This time I succeeded in making the doors move out and up simultainiously with one singe operation. And of course it had to have all of the fuinctions you’d expect from a Lego® Technic supercar with some small extra’s. Here’s the complete list of features: 6-speed manual gearbox Full independent double wishbone suspension Hand-of-God steering Working steering-wheel inside Ackermann-steering geometry Caster angle on steering axle Camber on both axles V8 engine with RWD Typical Koenigsegg doors Opening hood and trunk" Edited October 14, 201212 yr by DLuders

October 14, 201212 yr Thanks for posting this guys. For some reason, I was not able to start a new topic.
October 14, 201212 yr @ Jurgen Krooshoop: I like the music you composed for your YouTube video. What was the most difficult part of your Koenigsegg model to complete?
October 15, 201212 yr @ Jurgen Krooshoop: I like the music you composed for your YouTube video. What was the most difficult part of your Koenigsegg model to complete? The most difficult was definately getting the door mechanism exactly right.
October 15, 201212 yr The most difficult was definately getting the door mechanism exactly right. Very very nice - and you beat me too it (no surprise there). I have been working on my own version of the Koenigsegg CCX for several years now, it will probably take me another several years to finish as I don't have enough time!! I have almost completed the chassis which includes a very simple but different solution for the Dihedral synchro helix door hinges. I will post some pics/cad later.
October 15, 201212 yr Fantastic Jurgen!! I am happy that my mps has inspired you to make this beautiful car!
October 16, 201212 yr Really great car! One thing puzzling me is the suspnesion, because i only see 4 A arms? Also love the door mechanism!
October 16, 201212 yr @Zblj - There are no A arms in the rear suspension. Edited October 16, 201212 yr by camaro365
October 19, 201212 yr Nice car Jurgen! I was missing Sheepo’s MPS... I have something to look at now
October 24, 201212 yr Great looking car although I think the HOG and the door opening knobs could be placed on an easier-to-reach spot. But this is the only thing, otherwise it is a superb model.
October 24, 201212 yr Awesome Koenigsegg (I say this as a lover of supercars and a lover of all things Scandanavian :) Just wish I had the parts (and time) to build something cool like this. I wonder which other colors it would be possible to build this in...
