I'm really looking forward to seeing this in Oslo. As I said on Brikkelauget's forum, the curved platform is a feature that really makes your station stand out. It's gorgeous! :)

It's no secret! I have placed 1x2 bricks overlapping each other to build the platform "wall" (in lack of a better word). When placed like this the wall becomes flexible to a certain point. Then I've placed 2x8 and 2x16 plates on top of this with tiles on top. The end of these plates (which then also has been curved has been hided underneath the station and elevated platform.

I thought "something" like that was going on; I just didn't realize you could get such a bend out of Lego like that (I have never built anything that big). I really like that station. Nice Job.

Very nice work, can it be taken appart in sections to make transport possible?

As stated earlier in the thread I was hoping it would work out ok to make transportation possible. Now the station is packed down and ready for transportation for an exhibition in Oslo the coming weekend.

Great station! Well done on the curved platform, it looks great.

All it needs now is a little more life on the platform ;-)

Agreed. I will try to fill it up with more minifigs and life in the coming exhibition in Oslo and take some pictures of it.

Wonderful station build and a nice train to go with it.

Does the train need some overhead wires though to finish it off?

I have been thinking about the same thing. I'll try to think of something before the weekend starts. The station has some overhead wires originally.

I linked to my Flickr-feed earlier in the thread, but I've just added some work-in-progress photos in the end of the Flickr-set, so here is the link to it again for those who missed it:
