His iron mask was cold enough to sear flesh and his earth tone robe was weighted by ice, but he remained calm, waiting for whatever diluted plan the mad beast had in mind.

The talk of torture didn't sit well with Galen. He was happy with killing people when said people were standing in his way, but he didn't condone torture. And of course he was quite opposed to torture being used on him.

"Listen Rhodus, if you want us dead just get on with it, I'm a busy man and I'm not going to stand more monologues from a two story-tall bore. Make it quick and painless. I'm leaving everything I have to my sister. Her name is Brianna. If someone can find her, that is. I've been looking for two years, she's disappeared from the face of Olegaia."

Galen wished he would have drank every potion he had before he stepped in the bank. Too late for that now.

Easily distracted, especially in his semi-frozen state, Galen then turns to the Paladin next to him. The one who has unfinished business with Rhodos.

"Oh... Alexander, I remember now. We met each other in Dastan, although in combat and I was quickly knocked out. That was a great fight. Well met again, hero. Even though this may be our last stand, it's good to know that I'm in the company of capable men."

Rhodus' Torture Session

Every round of torture, a die will be rolled. The resulting roll shows which method of torture Rhodus will use.

1. Gigantic Punch (24 damage)

2. Double Punch (Hits two heroes for 12 damage)

3. Piercing Jab (Hits a hero for 13 damage, disregarding SP)

4. Conserve Energy (can use two attacks next round)

5. Jab Frenzy (3 heroes take damage equal to their level, rounded down)

6. Ice Claw (12 damage, and transmits the Shivering effect (3 damage per round)

The heroes must decide who will be receiving the attack. Each time the die is rerolled, it counts a s a round. One of you must remain standing 9 rounds in, and maybe something good will happen. None of you may heal or attack: all you can do is take the beating

When you fall, and you can be pretty damned sure you will, the will lose any hope of winning. Rhodus, you cower behind your forces. You only have power because you rule over thousands below you. Without them, you are nothing. You contradict yourself. You act as if this is other people's fault. Yes, some of the wizards that created you had created you to be slaves, but to wrongs don't make a right. The proggs will overthrow you once they have the numbers. You make a mistake they don't like and they will stomp you so low you don't know what's up. Rhodus, what is your plan? Take over the world? That's the lamest 'super-villain' plot I've heard."
