I agree with the distinction you suggest, but in your brothers case it was clearly the former. What's insane was that he wasn't doing that from the start. Who saves their strongest attacks for the end of the bloody battle? Was he honestly that stupid, or was his ego simply too large for his brain?" "Once again, druid, nobody is laughing. And no, I doubt he was "saving it up". It was probably just an adrenaline rush. Alex, I'd love to sick you on a tentacle, but I believe that preparing the party for our next confrontation with Aquotor is more pragmatic. Heal Lycan, would you? I'll heal Elgar next round. This round I'll see if I can make the Hostage Tentacle a bit more... fragile. Elgar, why don't you confuse the thing too. Maybe we can get it to target Agualof! Depending on the definition, you could argue that every sentient being is insane. Alternatively, you could argue that so long as one's thoughts and their logical processes are like those of the majority, the individual in question is sane. But then you must decide if those who differ in specific ways--excess of ambition, excess of stubbornness, excess of pride--are sane. I personally believe I am sane--but who doesn't? Any ways, I'm just asking you not to die--but I didn't expect you to agree. You'll die with your friends." "Sylph, do may a favor... before we kill him, could you try and restore his eyesight? But enough dwelling on a bloodstained past. This is the present, and I still have every intention of exterminating you fowl pests." QM Note: Note that I fixed Aquos's history lesson a bit. He said he hadn't seen his father in 2,200 years: since he is about 1,100 years old, that just isn't possible. The Mythrogg was 2,200 years old when Aquos last saw him - so it was actually 800 years ago when Aquos last saw his father. As always, mornings are busy busy, so I'll update this afternoon. Bricksandparts Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) OoC: I probably won't be on much for the time being, probably be more active again in a week or so, but for now, I'm sick, so DLL controls Johon for now.
