Elgar conjures up a ball of icy magic and lobs it at the Aerial Progg. It hits him squarely in the face grid, the frigid ball of magic making his wings go numb. He collapses to the ground and succumbs to his wounds, dead. The party all take truns attacking the Juggernaut, the armored Progg at once point taking a good beating... until Galen throws his wrench. The beast has enough sense in him to jump out of the way, and he grabs the elastic as he passes by. He pulls back the elastic and lets go, the wrench slingshotting right back at Galen - and hitting him in the shoulder. The Juggernaut manages to dodge Sylph's arrow, only to eavde right into the path of the druid's second. The Luoshian Captain runs up to the solider and swings his halberd down, killing the beast. With the bodies of several proggs scattered at their feet, the drenched party goes to the colossal door. Pushing it open, they head inm walking down a thin hallway... they peek around the corner and see... A fourth prince?! An aerial progg speaks to the "prince", shotuing orders: either he was confused with the chain of command... or it wasn't a prince at all. Upon further inspection, it appeared to be a construct: a Trojan Progg of sorts. Several voices come from the replica, most of them sounding rather irritated. "This is stupid." "It's cramped in here." "I want my mommy!" "Owowwowo... Your tail is in my face!" "Well then, smart one, get your face away from my tail!" "All of you, silence!" "I'd advise you listen to him. Now then... to begin the test. Left arm up, right arm up, tail up, tail down..." The Proggs inside of the trojan follow the Aerial Progg's instructions to the letter, manipulating the construct. The party deicdes now is an oppurtune time to barge in, and rounds the corner. "Ah, they've made it through the first line! You know what to do, boys - have at 'em!" The Trojan lifts its mighty tail and slams it into one of the pillars, the stone column toppling with a rumble and laning with a thud. The door at the end of the foyer opens and 5 other Proggs storm in... Prepare for the next area! Enemies in the Foyer: ALL: "Hahahahahahah!" (25-5=20 damage) The party stands against their new batch of foes, the realization of how big this battle was bound to become sinking in as they eye the massive Trojan. Punii is intimidated by the forces, his tail shaking a bit while mixing the jellies; it produces a still scathing but slightly lackluster blast. Alex heals up Galen as Johon goes on a frenzy on the Artillery Proggs, hitting them hard back-to-back. They recoil backwards, dazed from the blow. Sir Slush stands toe to toe with the Progg Trojan, the 6 Proggs contained within the wooden husk working feverishly to pilot the mechanical Progg. The Trojan opens fire, a hailstrom of arrows spewing forth from its face grid... but they all just go through the slush pile. The frigid Sir rams the Trojan, doing a feeble amount of damage. Elgar fires a ball of ice magic at the Aerial progg, the winged beast not fast enough to evade. Hal jumps at the pillar but the Sniper has enough sense to anticipate the attack. He and his two snipers roll the pillar back, then forward as Hal lands, crushing the Captain's foot. He quickly limps backwards, slowed from the ordeal. Sylph manages to muster up the Roots of Life in this mystical manor, the tendrils emerging through cracks in the tiles. They wrap themselves gently around the party, healing them back up to their prime. The root seemingly wave goodbye to the druid as they slip back down into the crevies in between the tiles, their job done. Encouraged by the appearnace of the roots, galen mugs both Archers, deftly launching his Goblin's wrench at them. The rubber band works as advertised, returning the wrench back to Galen. Sylph fails to seal the Sniper, and Romulus suffers the consequences. With a defeaning crack, the Sniper shoots an arrow straight at Romulus, wounding him for the rest of the battle. Two of the bow-based proggs sieze a prime oppurtunity and fire. While the Archer's arrow pings harmlessly off of Alex, the Sniper scores a clean shot on Johon. Enemies in the Foyer: "Man the battle stattions!" "We're already at them, you dolt." A: The two opposing effects nullify each other, so the hero will return to acting once per round, as normal. With a creak and a moan, the Torjan pulls its arm backwards... and swings, stiriking Johon in the ribs. The raider stumbes backwards, just barely staggering out of the way of the Sniper's shot. Running up to the pillar the sniper was behind and clibing up on it, Johon swipes some gold from the Progg sharpshooter and retreats back. He gets back up, quite dizzy, and long jumps toward the sniper, unable to land a hit, but managing to retrieve some gold. Johon is yet again hit, this time in his stomach. He takes a few steps back and sputters. He pulls out his grand potion and drinks it. swinging his sword, he aims to take out the Trojan from the front row. Quote
