Sylph heals Alex and removes the poison that was plaguing him. Sylph and Elgat attempt to confuse the Lurker, but it is to no avail. Alex takes a swing at the gaseous abomination only for the Lurker to parry and hop back. His sinister eyes changing from a sinister green to a sickly purple hue, the Lurker Progg lets out a burst of suffocating smog. The entire party coughs and gasps and wheezes, and 4 feel themselves becoming Badly Poisoned. The Druid proves wily in his final moments, leaping out of the way of Hal's halberd swings - twice! The arbormancer even manage to gets a solid hit on Johon, the beast ducking underneath the Raider's blade and jamming his scepter into his ribs. Romulus apporaches the Mantrap, the beast gnashing its teeth wickedly... Romulus swings, but gets parryed by one of the plant's barbed tendrils. Romulus, momentarily stunned from the pary, feels one of the thorny tendrils dig into his stomach - as it pulls out, Romulus slumps to the floor. It seems that the carnivorous plant had not only stolen his luck, but had left him sickly as well. Galen seems to be the only one with any luck here, mugging a dGlutton out of existence and doing some damage to the Juggernaut. The fragile Progg Druid succumbs to his various ailments and crumples to the floor, his shell battered, the foliage on him withered, and his claws and tails limp.
