tchuk-norst Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 There is a red and gold blur that disrupts the blue cloudless sky. As you squint you can make out some of the details. Then it is upon. And you don't have any time left. Behold! "Emuir's Breath" I was really inspired by Jon Hall's sky-fi planes on flickr. I used some of his techniques on this build. And now, as is my custom, a period picture. Here is a side-view. As usual, more images are on Brickshelf (when moderated). Quote
Laura Beinbrech Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Ooh! Sky-FI, one of my favorite Diesel punk sub-genres. I really like this plane you made, it captures the look quite well. Good use of SNOT on the Fuselage as well as finding an actual use for those overly-long wedge pieces.... Quote
Si-MOCs Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Really nice build. I particularly like the fuselage - the snot work is great! Engines and colour blocking is also pretty fantastic. Only thing that irks me are the wings, they don't seem to be big enough to provide lift... but I'm just nit picking. Nice build Quote
soccerkid6 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Very neat shape, the color scheme and part usage throughout is also excellent Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Amazing plane! I like the shape and the colors scheme! Quote
ZCerberus Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Very cool. I love Sky-fi! Must build spaceship!! Quote

Martin_B Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I really dig the colour scheme there...the pipes snaking around the front of the fuselage are neat too. Good job! Quote
