MikeyB Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Before the days of Victor Revolword and the Corrupt Hand, life was much relaxed and peaceful. Jars would spend his day down by the stream catching fish, dreaming of beautiful women. Some days, he would go all day with out a bite, but it was always good day sitting by the stream. A good day for Jars. A fish on the end of his line always puts a smile on his face. a crane hunts the banks for dinner thanks for looking and as always critics and comments are welcome More photos can be seen here http://mikey.smugmug.com/Other/Lego-MOC/i-MfNvx76/0/M/fish4-M.jpg Quote

MikeyB Posted October 25, 2012 Author Posted October 25, 2012 thanks guys, I can't take total credit for the crane. I remember seeing something a year or two ago but can't find it again but I rememberd the use of the skeleton arm for the neck and just kind of went from their. I have had it built for a few weeks and basically just wanted to show it off so I built this little scene. I was lucky about two years ago, I loaded up on plant pieces from PAB walls. so I have shoe box plastic container filled with leaf pieces, and a couple PAB cups with grass pieces. I also scored a 9 cypress trees (and 60 other various trees) for $25 from a local Craiglist find about nine months ago. I need to work thos cypress trees into a buld soon Quote
kabel Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Nice little vig, I like it. Interesting to see how you did these trees. I need to work thos cypress trees into a buld soon With building in Varlyrio that shouldn't pose a problem. Quote
de Gothia Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 What a nice little scene Mikey! That bird is looking very good! The dk brown close to the water makes is really realistic! And I´m very jealous of your cypresses! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Very nice landscape, has a very peaceful feel to it I'm hoping to find some foliage parts on one of my rare trips to a PAB wall Quote
Mike S Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Excellent work as usual! And like others have said, that crane is what really shines here! Quote

Kristel Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Beautiful all round. I like how you have done the trunk for the big tree and the crane is just superb. I expect you'll see these popping up at watering holes everywhere. Quote
Rolli Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Look at all of that vegetation! That crane is very well done. Great job Mikey. I'll have to second that. Also I want to point out that I liked the way it is photographed. Good work! Quote
