DoubleT Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, producers of the James Bond films, and MGM announced today that Martin Campbell will direct CASINO ROYALE, the 21st film in the 007 franchise. This is Campbell Quote
Orlego Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 All they need to do now is hire the cast (including Bond) and write the movie. :P :P ;) Quote
DoubleT Posted February 4, 2005 Author Posted February 4, 2005 Well I hope they get Clive Owen or someone like that Quote
Jipay Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Well, I hope for someone with style... Brosnan was just the perfect James and wish they will find someone like him. *satis* Quote
DoubleT Posted February 4, 2005 Author Posted February 4, 2005 I might be dreaming...... But Bond Lego anyone? ;) Quote
Jipay Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Definitly dreaming. Bond is all about weapons and explosions ! Mac guyver lego could have been cool :-D Quote
DoubleT Posted February 4, 2005 Author Posted February 4, 2005 Well there are Guns and exsplotions in Star wars ;) Quote
Orlego Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Even a generic spy theme would be cool. ;) Quote
The Middleman Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Generic spy theme would sell sooooo well. Quote
Brickmaster Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Yes, i think it would sell well, but what kind of sets would there be? What would be in them? i guess i can only dream of the day lego creates a spy line.... *wub* Quote
jonfett Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Even a generic spy theme would be cool. ;) Lego have kinda covered the "Generic Spy" line with Alpha Team.. so unfortunately I would think that for as long as AT are around we will see no Bond Lego :( Jon. Quote
The Middleman Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Alpha Team is 'futuristic spy', and they're not really spies anymore anyway (love that subtle transforming robot command center). Still, they are supposedly spies, so you're right on that point. I would just love to see Q as a LEGO guy. Quote
jonfett Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Also, I cannot see Lego buying another movie license.. because I am pretty sure they have not done too well with Harry Potter and Star Wars in the last few years. Btw, love you avatar Bloody Jay! Jon. Quote
DoubleT Posted February 5, 2005 Author Posted February 5, 2005 Well Potter have done well.... And Star Wars have done great.... not 04 though... a baaaad year. Quote
The Middleman Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Btw, love you avatar Bloody Jay! Why thank you! :D Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 not 04 though... a baaaad year. They only have themselves to blame, a year with almost all set remakes. >-| Anyway, I bet tis year will sell at least ten times as many sets. Quote

I hated it more for the 4Juniors bull, and all the <insert that tiresome argument> sets they shoved at us. The remakes were ok in my book. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 I doubt anyone will be as good as Pierce. :'( Quote
David85 Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Wow a movie title for a Bond movie that doesn't even have a Bond yet!!! Plus EVERY Bond movie of the last 10 years have changed it's name. Quote
