Crazy Packers Fan Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Best: Probably the Queen Amidala minifigure I want so bad. Worst: One of the first-ever released Star Wars sets was the Speeder Bikes, with these as Scout Troopers: Any slight movement of the helmet caused yellow to be sticking out of the Trooper's mask. I resorted to simply taking droid heads from Insectoids and turning them around in order that there wouldn't be any embarrassing yellow. (One good thing about the face: it allowed me to make a Darth Sidious character, as his face was never shown in Episodes I or II.) Also, got to throw in Battle Droids. They stay together for maybe a minute at a time before completely falling apart. Oh, and their hands often crack, to make matters worse. Quote
Highonbricks Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Juno eclipse was definitely one of the most poorly made figures. But battles damaged Darth Vader made up for that! :) Quote
Jared Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) My vote for best goes to the turtles (cartoon, not those ugly pieces of trash from the new movie). Even with the design flaw of having the platic shell on their backs stopping the legs from rotating backwards, they printed the shells on the back so you could have that flexibility to remove the shell and get more articulation without the figure looking more weird. Worst fig: Star Wars Clone Wars Humanoid figs. Ew. *shudders* Edited August 25, 2014 by Jared Quote
coolguy2323 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Best: King Theoden, the attention to detail on the print is just amazing. Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) A new best: Heath Ledger Joker. I think they handled the dark character rather well, keeping the creepiness of his appearance while making it colorful and LEGO-like. Edited August 20, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
Steph 104th Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 My new best would be the Lego Batman 3 Space Suit Batman, http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140727021715/lego/images/d/d5/14753584925_c9fd214239_h.jpg Quote
Gatthekid Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 My personal favorite has to be Star-Lord from the Starblaster Showdown set. The mold for his helment is amazing and the printing can only be described as gorgeous. Quote
