Governor Mister Phes Posted January 12, 2013 Author Governor Posted January 12, 2013 I know it's not a minifig, but every pirate theme needs treasure, right ? Eventually, but we specifically need minifigures at this point and someone who can take dozens of variations of particular pirate sub-themes. But thank you for your contribution, it shall not go to waste!
absolutelylez Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) Some French for you Some zombie goodness for you Some happy cannibalism for you A happy yellow skinned blackbeard for you (not enough vitamins lately) Some captains for you, though admittedly I don't think the image conforms to your rules so well. Bit grainy Conquistadoring fun time Edited January 14, 2013 by absolutelylez
JeffCopp Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 This is my first attempt at taking a picture. If I need to change something let me know. I'm a huge beginner! https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share?s=5WWjggRFTngvNbtJ2y5iQo "The imperial guards look a bit lost, but so does someone's treasure chest.."
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 16, 2013 Author Governor Posted January 16, 2013 This is my first attempt at taking a picture. If I need to change something let me know. I'm a huge beginner! Thank you for your contribution! However, a lot will need to change for the image to be upto standard, here are a list of things: The image is too dark and slightly out of focus. The "floor" (or tabletop) isn't a neutral colour - it looks like a wood finish which makes removing the background more difficult. The frame size is too small for the number of minifigures The minifigures aren't posed very well. For example: the shot looks taken above and you can't see the faces of some of the minifigs. One of the pirates and the treasure chest is concealed by an Imperial Guard. Each minifig must be visible in their entirety. What we need is a constant well-lit environment, with a neutral coloured background, which has one or two minifigs framed front-on. Like this:
