Jameson42 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I recently built a Rubik's Cube out of LEGO dice: This was a fun build... The dice pieces are all connected together by 1x2 tiles stuck between the studs. I'm very happy with the final product, and considering utilizing the dice more in some upcoming builds. They provide an interesting look! Before you ask, no, it's not functional. I considered making one of the sides turn, but it just didn't look right on the stand like that. Quote
IAmWillGibson Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Definitely cool. Probably a better use of excess dice than I had, which was to strip the rubber off one. It makes a neat piece I'm still trying to figure out how to use, but the dimensions are all non-standard on it so it's pretty screwy-louis. Still, this is a heck of a display piece. Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Brilliant idea, what a pity it's not functional but other than that your LEGO one looks better than the real thing! Quote

Very strange dimensions on the die piece. Quote
harton Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 One statement, better than the original! Quote
