just2good Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Actually it was the worst one since the only exclusive was the bag and the map. Figure is from a common set. Yeah, I know. I said the pouch was exclusive. Same goes for this set. Forgot about the map, though. Quote
dj2005 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 That is indeed a cute set. And I really like those almost-square LEGO boxes that some sets come in. Quote
Basteq Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Yeah, I know. I said the pouch was exclusive. Same goes for this set. Forgot about the map, though. Still don't get what you mean by its being perfect exclusive... ;) Quote
deskp Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I think it's about 6 hours till sdcc preview night opens. Then it goes on for 3 hours. Not expected to give us any news REALLY, but I thought people might like to know. Still don't get what you mean by its being perfect exclusive... ;) Well it doesent give you anything you'll need to pay ALOT for on ebay that never make it out to most consumers. That would be considered a bad exclusive since it annoys alot of people. (even if the item itself might be fantastic, it leaves you with a bad feeling) Quote

But it still costs over 100usd on ebay :( SW tins were much better ;) Quote

Kez Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Oh, that hobbit micro set looks really cute and cool (god darn it, me needs it, me wants it LOL), at least it didnt come with an exclusive figure. Quote

Darth Nader Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Wow lego was really cheap with this exclusive. They couldn't even give us the Bilbo figure that was included in an unexpected gathering. But I bet some people are willing to pay $500 on ebay for it. Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Wow lego was really cheap with this exclusive. They couldn't even give us the Bilbo figure that was included in an unexpected gathering. Perhaps it's because that minifig was technically the "exclusive" last year. Quote
Almaras22 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Does Lego normally upload the instructions for exclusives such as these? Would be interested in at least seeing it in more detail :-) Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Wow lego was really cheap with this exclusive. They couldn't even give us the Bilbo figure that was included in an unexpected gathering. But I bet some people are willing to pay $500 on ebay for it. Maybe it's cause this Bilbo is the most iconic? I really like the set. I look at the eBay prices, if it's too much I'll Bricklink it. Darth Nader Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Perhaps it's because that minifig was technically the "exclusive" last year. Oh dear I forgot about that I feel so stupid. Maybe it's cause this Bilbo is the most iconic? I really like the set. I look at the eBay prices, if it's too much I'll Bricklink it. Lol you do have a good point about it being iconic. I can see why you like this set and good luck purchasing it at a decent price. Quote
SandMirror38 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) How long till we'll see more stuff at comic-con? Edited July 18, 2013 by SandMirror38 Quote

Leo604 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) How long till we'll see more stuff at comic-con? Are you talking specifically LOTR/Hobbit stuff or Lego in general? Well in either case, SDCC goes until the 21st so sometime between now and then. EDIT: Whoops, posted right after Tolkien. Edited July 18, 2013 by Leo Crimson Quote
