What are you talking about, radagast ebard/hat works jsut like any of the dwarves beard pieces.. normal head, with one piece on top of it.

That is what I was trying to say! I take it you misunderstood my statement? I thought I made it clear. I just stated my opinion that it was clever how those type of pieces click on over the head. My best guess is the bottom of the beard/hat piece is completely open and the head goes onto the torso and the beard piece goes over the head cleverly matching up with the face printing. In my opinion that's a clever idea and so is the whole design of the piece. Is that a clearer way of putting it? That is as you put it, what I am talking about.

Nice haul! I can't wait to see what the sets look like in person! Apart from laketown (sorry just doesn't really interest me) I will be buying most of this wave and the AUJ sets I still have to catch up on! Enjoy your sets

The listings I've seen on eBay in the last two days only have the first three sets. So, I consider it rare at the moment.

I was looking at the back of the instruction booklet and noticed something interesting. It seems we may have a Lake-town Guard polybag coming up! Set number 30216? Notice the regular Lake-town guard on the right side. This would be an awesome polybag to get considering how hard it's going to be to army build these wonderful minifigs.

The Gandalf at Dol Guldur polybag is #30213 so I think it's likely!

I would have MUCH rather had a Gundabad Orc polybag, but I can't complain! That guard will fit right into Mitgardia!

It would be nice to get a Lake-Town Guard polybag. I'm rather annoyed that Beorn's head is a single piece. As for a 3rd LotR wave, the splitting of the two Hobbit films into three was announced July 2012. So two years is a good amount of time to design at least a Minas Tirith set, right? And the Lothorien location in the bonus level of the LotR game was next to Rivendell - which became a real set. So I'm hoping for a final 3rd LotR wave, or at least a Minas Tirith set.

Well, the fact that the Hobbit directions don't advertise another LOTR wave certainly doesn't bode well for any future sets . Although the suggestions that there will be a few Hobbit movie sets this summer do sound like a possibility. Perhaps a larger set like Erebor which wouldn't fit well into the winter price range which typically features less expensive sets?

If this does mean the end of the LOTR sets, it is a crying shame since there seems to be (in my own opinion) three must have sets and characters

that we will be lacking:

1. Minas Tirith with Éowyn

2. Henneth Annûn with Faramir

3. Lothlórien with Galadriel

However, the list of summer sets should be coming out in December so we will find out for sure the fate of this line.

Wow, that's an awesome find! Those are definitely polybags, as majority of the 3xxxx sets are polybags. It's cool that LEGO is finally acknowledging polybags in official sets!

Nope, thats nt the case anymore, its release december 2014.

Great news, if the best minifig of the wave gets a polybag! That should keep the price for it down aswell.

Are you crAzY?! We get a pair of Gundabad Orcs in three different sets. Two of those sets are pretty cheap and fairly easy ways to army build with. We don't get the Lake Town Guard in any other sets except the fairly expensive Lake Town Chase. I think the guard is actually the best LotR/Hobbit polybag to date. It's a figure only in one other expensive set, but people will want to army build with it a lot due to them being the human faction and taking part in the Bo5A. Now Legolas is another story.. kind of a pointless polybag imo. Especially with the Mirkwood Spider set still being readily available. Now THAT polybag I agree, I would of rather had a Gundabad Orc in instead. If it was an orc with the shoulders and hair/ears this wave would of easily been one of the tops for me, just because of the amazing polybag selection and Mirkwood Elf Army builder alone.

I wonder what this means that the polybag is actually listed in the booklet this time, unlike with previous ones? Hopefully it will actually have good distribution?? The only thing worrying me about the polybag is they can be pretty hit and miss to come by, and some countries never even get them at all.

It was very close to after the 3 movie announcment that the 2014 changed to december.

Thanks for the Beorn pictures! I had wished that his "tail" was less curved more flat angle, but overall it's nice.

Too bad about Beorn's headpiece, I would have appreciated a second facial expression Maybe next year in one of the TABA sets... He still looks great though and I don't see any colour differences on the pictures Now that the sets are released, I can't wait to see how long it takes those greedy SDCC Azog- sellers to realize that their "rarity" has lost its worth
