I wonder how long it will be before we see them in Australia, hardly any new product down here for a little while.

Orthanc is confirmed for us as 1st of July so I imagine the other sets will be released by then. Makes little sense to release them after it. Start of June is when I'm expecting them to pop up, mid June they should be widely available. But that is just my educated guess.

Are most people here buying the sets as soon as they come out? I try to wait for a 20% off sale before I buy sets but I think that's going to be next to impossible with Orthanc, maybe just a double VIP day.

That's exactly what I am doing. While the sets are definite must buys for me, they aren't anything I am dying to have. I will gladly wait for 25% off at Amazon, plus free shipping and no sales tax and get them then. Last year it seemed they were discounted within a few weeks is all. Orthanc I will probably just wait for double VIB since I doubt there will be many better deals since its an exclusive.

True. I saw one that covered the first half of the year, but there was nothing for June. (Unless it had Technic, in which case there was nothing important!) If we don't get them next month, it will surely be July.

Somehow I assumed that the dark blue aragorn in the gate set would be the same we already had. Now I have just seen his new look with the tree on his chest. If prices do not skyrocket to extreme, it would be nice to have a regiment with dark blue hoods.

Still, I will only buy the council and BL Aragorns and eagles.

We might just see a couple of the sets leak out before the 1st. That's not Amazon's price, that's one of their merchants they just act as the middle man for.

I just saw all of the new sets at a TRU here in Fort Worth, TX. They look even better in person. I did not buy though, even with BOGO50%, the markup was too steep for me. I will wait until they are at S@H. (That and I just blew two months lego budget on Castle). It looks like I should have taken pictures to show, since no one has done it yet.
