^ Everyone's building skills are at different levels, Alcarin. You're coming off as a bit conceited with post after post about how great of a builder you are.

Yeah, really. What cool guys, bragging about something that less than no one considers impressive in the slightest. Go outside, get some sun, talk a girl, maybe, if you're feeling SUPER bold.

Look under the set(s) you want, and look at the new section, and they are all available at retail price from Amazon.uk, I'm pretty sure they are available now aren't they?

Ah yep, silly me, I see them now, thanks, Il probably wait a few days though and hope that S@H get them in stock, there will be plenty of promotions I could get :classic:

My Tower of Orthanc is still on backorder :hmpf_bad: What's the point of ordering it early as a VIP if it gets shipped after the 1st July anyway.........

The same happened to mine, so I called and asked that they chase it up and upgrade me to next day shipping. Arrived the next day!

What do you think of my idea giving some mini figures small changes.

Arwen: Legs and a litte cape, Also a ninjago blade, that looks like elven sword

Theoden: Hair from lego city minifigure

Eomer: Hair from hobbit Fili the Dwarf

Dont get why Arwen has legos or a cape. the legs should only be used for her riding in my opinion.

Theoden and Eomer should use the "gladiator" swords.

Eomer should not use a cape or a shield.

Theoden: Hair from lego city minifigure

Can you please tell me which set that hair comes in? (Hopefully not too pricy)

What minifigure did you get the legs from to use for Arwen? I like that look a lot better. I'm not a huge fan of the "dress brick" look.

I think it's from the soldiers in the lone ranger.

i check this page almost everyday hoping to find some news about the 2013 The Hobbit sets. how much longer?

Likewise, it should be a few weeks till SDCC (San Diego Comic Con), we should start to see some hobbit sets and maybe a few figures like we did last year. :classic:

Theoden: Hair from lego city

Yes! That is the perfect hair for Theoden. I was actually thinking about using that exact hairpiece, and I definitely will now that I see how accurate it looks.

I would like to point out that the figures we saw last year was the ones from the set they were showing. (and that little thorin/nori mishap)

2 weeks till the weekend before sdcc (the weeknd we got the first minifig picture last year)

Aye indeed, I am certainly looking forward to it, maybe a Mexican lego group might leak some more figure pictures for us like they did last yea LOL. Hopefully if there is a set on display this year, which there most likely will be, it hopefully will have smaug in it. :classic:

So as relevant to my post a few comments up http://www.eurobrick...00#entry1631779 has anybody else come across the lego LOTR board game, I hope the UK gets it very soon, if we do I reckon it will be in July when the rest of the second wave gets released. :classic:

I bought the game on Saturday, built it, but haven't played it yet. I took photos including of the rules (pretty much a cross between Heroica & SW Battle Of Hoth Lego board games) and I'll put them up soonish, maybe even type up a mini reviewish type thing.

The game differs from Heroica in that it isn't a dungeon crawler kill all monsters, but rather 2 teams last-man(hero)-standing / capture the flag objective, there are no object pick-ups, spells, gold etc. But you still have hit points, and special abilities when you roll The One Ring. I haven't thought of a way to integrate the two yet.

Also, my Tower Of Orthanc is currently in transit for delivery today, sucks though because I probably can't build it until Wednesday night. I hate having a new set sitting there not being built yet...

looks like the San Diego Comic Con is sold out.. so LEGO will have a display there?

SDCC sells out in the first 30 minutes  and yes the past few years LEGO has had a pretty good sized display area there. Just be patient and tons of pictures will be rolling in that week!

The game sounds really good, thanks very much and if you do type up a mini review I look forward to it. Even if the game isn't brilliant to play I'm still going to get it for all of those micro figs, thanks again. The tower of Orthanc is a great set, just be careful not to drop anything when you transport it like I did :classic:

Aw, I was hoping to see the LOTR (And Lone Ranger) sets up at S@H tis morning. No such luck for us UK-ers :hmpf_bad: .

Hopefully at the very latest when the summer Argos catalogue comes out we will see them. It could be this month for lotr sets although lone ranger I wouldn't expect til august as the 8th of Aug. is the uk cinema release date for the film so having them coincide with the film would be a tactical idea.

Built Orthanc last night after all, finished at 2am... (ugh...) Amazing, and the poster is pretty cool (both sides of it unfortunately, which one to use?)

It took about 5 hours, but I was taking photos too.

Really? They've been out in Australia (yes, Australia!) for weeks now.

They were recalled in UK.
