I don't think they had them at any UK store today... the staff at the Liverpool store said they had none in stock and had a pretty strict embargo in selling sets early.

Looks like it will be next weekend then! I can wait... A week doesn't make much of a difference.

Got barrel escape today from Lego store as part of there vip thing, it was the last set I needed so until the 1st Dec I have every set although I think Argos have the set already. Oh well 4 more sets to go.

I think the figs are much better then the sets in this wave, lake town looks the best but still a little small for £50

I'm going to keep an eye out on Tesco and John Lewis as they're probably going to be the best places to get a discount from release. If nothing is happening there then I'll go straight to the Lego store and pick them up.

Yep. I had exactly the same experience when I tried. Only a week or so to wait though.

Lol this may be totally off topic but today while searching at my local walmart I found 12 Uruk Hai Army's on clearance for $10 a piece!!! :D That was too good to pass up and a picked up all 12! XD

I'm kind of confused about Amazon (US) listings for the new sets. Lake-town Chase (the set that I am most anxious to get) is conspicuously absent, and there is no image for Dol Guldur Battle. I hope this will all be straightened out by December...

Hmm, that Beorn head-piece is disappointing - all to make him a teeny bit taller...?

Also, I am positive there will be a third LOTR wave - if they were ending with two waves, then the Ent in the Tower of Orthanc set would have been Treebeard. Since he wasn't, they must be saving him for later... It's the same reason I was sure they'd continue the theme with a second wave - since Saruman wasn't included in Orc Forge, (the most obvious place to put him), I knew they must be saving such an essential character for a later wave. So have faith people!

(Also, since the movie back to being released in December, they can release the LOTR wave in the northern hemisphere summer as usual (the pattern was going to be messed up if the Hobbit was being released in July).

The news about the video game is excellent - I hope they do a Visual Dictionary as well, both with an exclusive figure of course!

Hm, Beorn's head piece looks incredible from the side and back, but from the front... . It makes his head look super skinny and tall. The beard should have extended lower or the face be bigger.

Actually I don't think it will be available until the website allows for in store pick-up.

Checked bricklink.com, polybag not available, didn't expect that though. The sets are available there, I think I just wait till 1 december when lego.com has them.
