Ooh, its awesome that it includes a spear aswell. The build off that set isnt great for a polybag, but some of the pieces are.

The Elf King has awkwardly lower ears that make him look kind of dumb.

BTW all the new sets are finally on Amazon, with some on sale. Already got a new one at 33% off.

I'm headed to the Lego store today in Texas to pick up the new sets.

From what I gather, people have been able to order the lake town guard poly bag online from TRU, but we have no confirmed sightings in store yet?

I have checked the nearest TRU at least two times this week and nothing so far in terms of polybags (or new sets, they removed them after I tried to purchase them). There is also a TRU distribution center in the same city so I would imagine the actual TRU store would be one of the first to get the polybags in.

*storm of expletives* the Hobbit sets are now in stock, but the polybag is out of stock. Can't catch a break, can we? Guess it's just down to waiting for the polybags to hit stores...

If they'd raise the darn limit the problems would be over. We could all order 20 lakemen apiece for BOGO50 and everyone would live happily ever after.

Hobbit sets were selling well today at my local lego store, LTC and MEA seemed to be the most popular.

MEA seems to be selling very healthily. It's been out of stock more than In-stock at amazon, and OOS at TRU. I keep hoping that I can get on the S@H page to pick it up, but I keep encountering a 500 Server Error :(

I think it's pretty cute. Useful for those who want lots of the elf hair for a cheap price. Nice find.

Nice selection of brics, useful leaves and circle plate, for Bag End extension perhaps...but Legolas is quite useful fig. Only hairpiece, but I can see that - to many blonde elves everyvhere :D

Flick missiles are almost in every set, as well as catapult :) Cheap function for kids :D

Nice find, deskp! I actually like that polybag. Good for stocking up on olive leaves and it's nice we get a nougat circle plate. I'd rather not have an army of Legolas though, so I'll probably only get one or two.

Agreed. A Tauriel polybag would have been a much more useful choice.
