TheBrickAvenger Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 [pid][/pid]226C Good evening to all of you, I am proud to introduce my latest creation ! The Spanish Fort : The Spanish Fort par TheBrickAvenger, sur Flickr Somewhere in the Caribbean Sea, the conquistadors watch on the horizon. Brickshelf Gallery I hope you will like it ! Quote
Antonio Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Another great & realistic creation from you!Job well done! The palm and overall detailing is simply stunning .The water makes a wavey effect on the island The question is how did they go on the island without any boat? Sea turtles perhaps? Quote
Kristel Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 This is beautiful! The water effect and the base are superb. Quote
Kai NRG Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Great job! Very realistic looking little fort and I love the cannon! Quote
Big Cam Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Excellent rock work. This would make a perfect Pirate set. I like the two color approach on the tree. Quote
ZCerberus Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] I always seem to get TheBrickAvenger's work right on time! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Nice little build. I very much like the tree and the use of sand green on the fort. What torsos are those? Quote
harton Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Good built, I hope they have some supplies with them! Rocks effects is well made and I like the base too. Quote
TheLegoNinja Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Love this MOC! The rocks are perfect! Do you plan on adding a dock or at least giving them a boat? And what do they do about food? Quote
TheBrickAvenger Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 Thank you all for the nice comments What torsos are those? They came from the set 9473 The Mines Of Moria (Goblin Torso) Love this MOC! The rocks are perfect! Do you plan on adding a dock or at least giving them a boat? And what do they do about food? Yes, if I have the opportunity in the future, there will be other conquistadors Moc ! Quote
Mazin Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Simply stunning! I agree with commodore Big Cam - with few changes this one would be a nice one to turn into an official set, very inspirational ... as well as your other pirate MOCs One question... I see that you gave them different typu of rifle. Where did you get them? These are not from Western series eiter... Quote
Grimmbeard Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Simply stunning! GobletStudios Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I like it! I especially liked how you used the transparent studs as the ocean water, and how you actually used darker yellow bricks to represent the wet sand. Very creative! Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Conquistadors are one of my favourite elements of the pirate theme. The torso works really well, a lot better than expected. The tree is also amazing. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 14, 2012 Governor Posted November 14, 2012 This is one of the Imperial Armada's more modest outposts... Although, those men appear to be wearing the uniform issued at least two centuries ago, so 200 hundreds years later I'd assume the fort has been substantially upgraded. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I assumed those were LOTR torsos, but I couldn't tell for sure. They work very well, at least in the scale that I see them. I may have to look into that. Thanks for sharing. Quote
r_history_lego0 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Very nice MOC, i like the weapons! Quote
zergu Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 simply love it, splendid colors and the cannon is really good! Quote
