February 11, 200718 yr Thanks for the pics! Wow, those box images look awesome! The NYC Toyfair has even more pictures of the Spongebob sets and guess what? Harry Potter sets! Here they are, Spongebob and Harry Potter, respectively. http://www.asmzine.com/toyfair07/gallery/L...ants/index.html http://www.asmzine.com/toyfair07/gallery/L...tter/index.html Spongebob sets look great once again. I love how they made that analyser thing that Plankton had in one of the earliest episodes! Harry Potter sets look fantastic, though I'm noticing a lack of a "final battle" set. I really hope they get more for this line! Also, I love the new Snape figure, as well as the Dolores Minifig. It's spot on! 8-
February 11, 200718 yr X-O :-( they have a herbology class!BUT NO PROFESSOR SPROUT! argh it looks better i am glad it was a prodotype, wait weres ron? no worrries i found him (thanks KMOI and i think it's a death eater in'it), in uniform, have you seen the new snape? and whats that place were dumble door is stand in? yoy *wacko*
February 11, 200718 yr Not entirely sure if I'm accurate, but isn't this Ron? http://www.asmzine.com/toyfair07/gallery/L...s/IMG_6351.html I think the flash may have killed the details of the face, but that's definately him. Awesome skeleton horse thingy too! Small question though. Does that Dementor have eyes?
February 11, 200718 yr Actually, the Hogwarts set is better than I thought it would be - did they break it down into three modules, or are we seeing some alternate builds. If all of those three modules are part of the set, it really would be good value for the money. The other thing I notice is that they are using a more reasonable Canadian dollar exchange rate in general. The Hogwards is a 33% increase (US to Can dollar amount), with other sets typically 33% to 40% . Given that in the past year or two it has been a 50% markup, I am very pleased. Maybe I can stop buying my sets off eBay now and go back to buying at Canadian retailers or S@H I am quite unimpressed by the Spongebob sets.
February 12, 200718 yr Wow, that's pretty! Thanks for the pictures, this castel's figs are the best of the HP series so far I think *y* !
February 12, 200718 yr Who's the girl with the pink outfit and 50's hairdoo? This castle looks a lot weaker than the previous two. In fact I still think the very first is the best of the lot. Hermione also looks very manish for some reason - mabey the new lips. If the sides of her hairpiece were longer she would look better too.
February 12, 200718 yr Pink fig is Umbridge. Very cool. figs seem to have new expressions or new hairpieces or both. Looks like the middle part fits right under the last castle from PoA. Nice. Umbridge's offics looks neat, as does the greenhouse.
February 12, 200718 yr The thing I like most about Harry Potter sets is the amount of detail inside the buildings. This new set is definitely a must-buy for me!
February 12, 200718 yr This Hogwart looks better than in the firts pic. I really like those new hair-pieces, those details, and the greenhouse! My poor wallet...
February 12, 200718 yr I love that new HP castle. That Umbridge figure is totally cool with that new hair piece. I didn't recognize Snape for a moment and I'm glad they gave Hermione the new princess hair. I love the Herbology class and Umbridge's office(you can see her plates with the kittens :-D ). Can anyone tell what that wardrobe(or at least that's waht it looks to me) thing is on the building where Dumboldore is. Overall I love it and definitely will be getting it.
February 12, 200718 yr I want this set, but I probably won't get it. Not enough cash to buy all these magnificent sets! -ZotS
February 13, 200718 yr Hello! I'm not a fan of HP, however last year I got from S@H the Graveyard, I tought it was a really good set with very useful minifigs and pieces. Yet again this year some things catch my eyes. Those winged black skeleton horses are really awesome, then there's this purple piece, which will be immensely useful for energy bolts and such. Finally there is this guy with the hood. Could someone tell me who is he/she/it? A Dementor (Dementors rock) ? He looks very cool. Shakar

Shakar i belive it's a death eator, or maybe lego changed the design of he-who-must-not-be-named, like wath they did with hermione, dumbldore and snape.
February 14, 200718 yr I'm probably wrong but it could be : Belatrix Lastange (Unlikley, but i won't rule anything out), Narscissa Malfoy, Grab or Goyle's father or even VOLDEMORT! *Througout Eurobricks* *Norrington said He who must now be named's name!* *I Know, the nerve of some people* *He's going to be dead in the morning* *OMG! You-know-who Pwn3d's him!* Lol :-D

It really seems like they're going REALLY light on this line this time around. Shame, considering there's far more possibilities for sets, such as the Ministry of Magic. I hope they do a second wave of sets, because I've never heard of one set for such a magnificent line. I'm also worrying about the lack of Avatar sets. I know they haven't done so well in comparisson to Spongebob, but they should give it a shot. Given the fact that the first wave was so lackluster, they should really give Avatar a better chance. I, for one, would love for there to be a collection of medium diorama sets, as opposed to the larger ones. Just like those smaller, but still large Orient Expedition sets, you know? I would DEFINATELY buy that!
