Holodoc, Copmike and myself just had our conference call for the 2013 event.

We worked out everything related to the rooms and we'll post it here soon (expect it in ~1 week) after we confirm some details. Those details include getting confirmation from 2 room responsibles whom we contacted via PM. Once the rooms info is posted you can pay to your room responsible who will next sent the total for the room to Holodoc. The Doc shall pay for the group in one go (except for the special family rooms of Dfenz and Cecilie who can go ahead and pay straight to the Kirchenbauerhof once we post the details).

The people in the 'pool', so everyone who needs accommodation except the Dfenz and Cecilie rooms, will pay for the accomodation 100 Euro's per person for the entire event (this includes buffet breakfast). We added a few euro's as a 'solidarity buffer' in case of rooms not getting entirely filled to avoid some people would need to pay more. If we have money left in the end we'll use it at the event for drinks for the group, special giveaways, etc.

After everything is worked out related with the rooms we'll start sharing more details about the program. Also that was discussed and we'll start some work in that area.

If I counted correctly, we currently have 4 "registered" cars for 20 atendees (I dont count Dfenz family and those who will not be staying at Bauernhof). Theoreticaly that should be enough (5 per car) and Im pretty sure that there will be more cars.

Hey guys, I am very happy to announce that I got a job offer in Munich and thus will probably join you at the event! I might not be able to afford the accomodation as money will be tight, but I'll do everything I can to see you all again :) It might only be for a day or two though.

We found out that we could rent a car really cheap, so Quarryman, eiker, ace and me will be sharing a rental car that we pick up at the airport in Munich when we arrive there, and have for the whole trip.

Right, I should hopefully know by next week whether I can attend or not. If I can I'll arrive on the Thursday at München airport at around half 10 AM. My mum probably won't come but if I am able to my girlfriend may come (with Redhead).

Calanon, if Sarah is taking one of the direct trains from Ljubljana, it's probably the best to meet with the group in Munich. And she can buy a train ticket directly to Gunzburg and just have a break in Munich.

Guys, I'll be joining for the whole event after all. One of my job assignments was cancelled so I'm free the first week of June!

I have just received really bad news. My car (which I wanted to use for the event) just busted out with a hole through the engine block. The mechanics will have to disassemble the engine to get a better view of the damage, but since the car just went out of warranty, I might be looking at a wallet cleaning repair bill and not be able to attend the event... or buy food.

They have promised to call me back once they know more, but right now it looks really, really bad.

Yes. It's the cute little car which has a cracked engine block. I have still not heard back from the mechanic, so I will go there tomorrow to get stuff sorted out. It might end up costing half of a new car... not something I'm willing to invest in at this point.

Aww, poor Lassemobile...

If it is going to be quite so expensive is there any sort of reliable used car market? When the head gasket went on old Xeb the Rover (alas poor Xeb, with your many coloured panels and rattlebucket noises) we were quick to pick up a very nice car for a decent price and the scrap value of the junker was helpful.
