Indeed it is, but quite a few of the new members registered were by the same person.

GregF/Evilandy/Hello etc had 6 accounts, Legolad911 had 4, so even though alot of accounts have gone only a few people have been chambered.

On the plus side 2 were released and are back with us :-)

Yay me (and Rymer)!!! Only 2 out of all the members who were/are chambered? Also, don't forget about Keetongu (I remeber him the most because of his very offensive remark towards me >:-( )

On the bright side, Congratulations to the site to which I am most active in :-)

I'm pretty sure John Cleese made it out of the chamber too.

That was some time ago, Vader meant the recent chamber guests. Since EB exists there have been a few who made their way back ;-)

That's what I thought, but I was refering to Lego2000's comment:

"Only 2 out of all the members who were/are chambered?"

He also meant the recent ones as he's been there recently...

My brother was considering making an EB account. Whats happens there as we would often use the same comp :'-( I presume people with multiple accounts are found not by checking IP addressess but on analysing their posts. Anyway don't many people's IP addresses change constantly with DHCP?

Nothing, as long as you "behave". If you don't arouse suspicion no one will check.

Both.

Anyway don't many people's IP addresses change constantly with DHCP?

You have to differentiate between external and internal IPs. Your external (the one you get from your ISP) is the one that registers here.

If your ISP uses DHCP (i.e. your external IP changes) then yes, you show up with many IPs here. If you have a private network (i.e. more than one computer) and use DHCP for that but you have a fixed IP from your ISP that IP won't change and you'll always show up with the same IP here.

Okay cool. Thanks for the clarification! *y*
