We've had 2 Xbox 360's in our house. The first one was the White Arcade system, but red ringed. The second one is the black Elite console, and that still works but has issues with the tray sometimes. We've had no issues with the Wii U so far, and my son's happy with it.

Hmm, I've never owned a PS3, but both my Wii (which I got on launch day) and my brother's Xbox 360 have had problems. The Wii broke right before SSBB came out, so we had to send it back and get a replacement. Additionally, the replacement crashes occasionally. The Xbox's internet broke once, and it bricked once, so we had to get it fixed a couple times...

Anywho, I can't wait until tomorrow! :classic:

With E3 around the corner, what do you guys predict will be there? I'm really excited for the new Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and Mario platformer games. :classic:

Also, are any of y'all getting Animal Crossing: New Leaf tomorrow? I am.

System seller. If you don't own either a WiiU or a 3DS and if there's any game that alone makes buying a system worth it, it's this.

Fighting/Party game. Get some friends and you'll play this your whole life practically :P. I spent years playing Melee and Brawl in college. They'd set up multiple TV sets with it and play it every freakin' day. For years. They're still playing it to this day! Most popular college "get together" video game game in my experience.

After seeing the Nintendo Direct, the newcomer

Animal Crossing Villager

has become my new favorite character of the series, ever.

I am so pumped for this game. I loved Brawl and this looks so much better, visually and gameplay wise. But does anyone know if this is the complete roster or will we see some appearances from other characters like Yoshi, Luigi (it is the year of Luigi after all) or Captain Falcon?

I wonder if they will include the previous 'newcomers' such as: Mewtwo, Mr. Game & Watch, Lucario, Solid Snake, R.O.B. & Sonic The Hedgehog.

Don't forget the Wii Fit Trainer!!

Oh yes... The Wii Fit Trainer. At first I was mad at her inclusion, as she is a bland character with no personality or anything. I do like her moves now.

Since Capcom pulled some dumb moves with the Mega Man franchise in the past years (they cancelled 3 Mega Man games in 2011), I'm absolutely super-happy that Mega Man made it into Smash Bros. this time.

I don't have a Wii U yet, but I will definitely buy one to get this game. I loved the first 3 Smash Bros.-games , but since I was pretty happy with Brawl, I was unsure if I want/need another Smash Bros. game. Of course, Mega Man answered that question: "You need this".

To clarify the questions about the roster: Back then when Brawl was announced they hadn't showed the entire games roster of recurring characters either, so it's very likely that the vast majority of veterans will join the new Smash Bros. as well. It could be possible though, that a few characters get replaced with more recent characters from their respective franchise - that was at least what happened between Melee and Brawl (Roy replaced with Ike, Young Link with Toon Link, Mewtwo with Lucario).

I remember that Sakurai said somewhere that the number of characters in Brawl is pretty much the possible maximum of characters, and they want to focus more on polishing the gameplay. I think something around 40-50 characters sounds somewhat plausible though. Brawl had 35 characters (or 40, depending on your point of view), and I guess we can expect at least 3 more newcomers.

Does anyone here have Animal Crossing: New Leaf? The game is fantastic- my favorite in the series! I'd love to visit some of y'all towns.

I'm still debating on wether or not I should purchase the Wii U. I really want it for SSB and LEGO Marvel, but it's a little pricey and I don't know what size I would need to buy :sceptic: All the games look great though

My son has one, and it's really good. He has the basic set, but apparently those have been sent back to Nintendo because only the premium set is selling.

I'd go with the premium set too, be it just for Nintendo Land.

Also, it can never hurt to have a larger hard drive.

Don't forget the Digital Double Rewards, too. I have the basic, and I regret my decisions.
