Mark of Falworth Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 More views on Flickr. In the delta of the Khos river stands Zuriel Castle, which guards the mouth of the river that brings life to the heart of the deserts of Loreos. Having successfully withstood all attacks launched against it by formidable foes, it stands as a bulwark against the enemies of the Desert Prince. For the Glory of Loreos! _____________________ Well, this was certainly a stretch to say the least. The irregular rockwork was pretty challenging, but building a castle on top of irregular rockwork was very difficult. Thankfully it all came together nicely, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. This is my first entry to the Tudor Castle category of the CCCX Thanks for viewing, and have a great day!! Quote
Lasse Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) Fantastic MOC Many good details. The water and the rocks look great. Edited November 19, 2012 by Lasse Quote
badboytje88 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Just saw this on flickr or brickshelf, not sure which one, great MOC! Is the roof brown or dark red? Quote
Nintendawg Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 That nice blue water looks good enough to jump into. I also like the use of the CMF stands on the drawbridge. Quote
Infernum Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Wow! The building, rockwork, and water are all perfect! Great build! Quote
Kai NRG Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Great build, the water especially strikes me as excellent! Love the castle roofs as well! Quote
Mencot Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Awesome build Mark, I did see this on Flickr yesterday but didn´t have time to comment on it, so here goes. Again amazing detail on the terrain, but you are the terrain and cliff master :P and watermaster :D Great roofdesign on the castle, I too wonder is it reddishbrown bricks? Overall a very great job. robuko Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I like what you did there. And there and there and there! Very nice to see the creativity on the textures here, and great colour and technique. Quote
The Dutch Guy Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Stunnig MOC, absolutely stunning. Quote

Rogue Angel Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 This is a beautiful MOC with some brilliant techniques! I love the lower walls, the tan panelling, and the water/rocks. The roofing is also well done, as are the palm trees and the foliage. This is superb! You should consider building for Kaliphlin in the Guilds of Historica. Quote
