The man started leading them straight back outside and then southerly, in the direction of the Warehouse district, talking all the while.

"I am Tolot, of Ve'er. I recognise a couple of you from when you came to Ve'er over a year ago. I am not sure if you remember me, but we spoke briefly in the Orcshead Tavern.

The town of Ve'er needs Heroica's help once again. After what happened about 6 months ago with the lost children, which I believe some of you assisted us with, Hlin decided to quit the law business and go into adventuring, taking Vres Halpo and Laxadaisi Velomptromp with him. They ended up in Miranda, far south of here, across the sea. We remained in contact for a while, but have heard nothing for a troubling amount of time, especially with the rumours about this tower suddenly appearing. We believe the Dark General Haroka and his Inquisitors to be behind this. Our town has unfinished business with him, which is what possessed Hlin to go off in the first place. Since almost losing Vell, he wants to right all the wrongs in the world, a task beyond just one man. But hopefully you will be able to find him and the others.

Do you have any questions? We are almost at our first port of call... Oh, and have you selected a leader for your party? I was remiss in doing so yesterday."

I rush up, dripping water. After my conversation with Nerwen, I realized something: I stunk. Like, I had a fetid odor surrounding me 24/7. Thus, I bathed quickly and rushed to catch up as this Tolot fellow rendezvoused at the Hall.

I second Nagure's question: have you heard any word of a Maginastra? He conjured up a house from nowhere and stuffed snatched kids in it. This seems mighty similar, and perhaps his Modus Operandi.

Tolot seems to grin a little when the Maginastra's name is mentioned, although it is perhaps a little hard to tell under the head-dress.

"I have not heard of this Peggy, I was not aware that unicorns even existed. I've never seen one. The one you know as the Maginastra was involved in the taking of the children of Ve'er, as you know, and was seen sometime afterwards as well. All will be revealed soon." he finished cryptically.

Now in the heart of the warehouse district, he paused at one of the warehouse doors.

"I was asked to bring you here, and this I have done. You must enter this warehouse."

What will the party do?

"Are you incapable of cutting to the chase here? I'd like to atleast have an idea what we'll meet in there."

Oh no. Another cryptic person. Just like that suit of armor...

"You will find only what you bring with you!" said Tolot, just to get on the undead's nerves, assuming he has them.

Resist urge to have a conniption.

"...Ooooookay then.

Anyone else have any ideas, or shall we just go in?"

"If we must enter I guess we will enter, not really much of an option. Will you join us, Tolot?"

"It is not my place to enter," said the enigmatic Tolot.

Realising that they could only go in, Guts opened the doors...

Rats! At least two of them! And they look quite hungry, although they don't attack the party, because that would be a bit lame - starting with a battle involving rats, and not what the party signed up for at all.

"A bottle of what appears to be booze, two rats and a spider. Something tells me this is a vermin birthday party.

Something also tells me this is a normal warehouse and we're being misled."

I inspect the bottle and it's contents.

The bottle is labelled Spring Water from the glorious Eubric Mountains, and as far as Sorrow can tell, that's what it contains.

Nerwen enters the warehouse behind the other heroes. Already the rogues were rifling through the goods stored there. Looking for shiny trinkets no doubt.

I am sorry for my lateness, my trip to the market must have taken longer than I thought.

Since it is the obvious item out of place, Nerwen inspects the black tardiswardrobe thing.
