ImperialJohn Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 What is the point of keeping 'em MISB unless you plan to rip somebody of in an EBAY auktion in ten years time :| To me LEGO is a toy, not an investment. And I'm not to happy about those who thinks the other way around. They make it harder to find things on sale *wacko* I do have some MISB's but that is because my storage is full :oo I'm trying to build my way out of that. But it takes time *wub* Quote
Ras 74 Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Well I have a closet, a small one. Here are some pics: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=91158 The collection has grown since those pics was taken. I cant even fit ONE ARC-170 in there right now... >:( Quote
The Middleman Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 You poor baby. :P I wish I had that much space. My room is 11x11 with a closet (not a walk-in). Not to mention that gimongous Star Wars collection. Quote
stan Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Nearly a complete collection.................... ........I see your missing that all ellusive grey 3x2 left wing piece from the AT-AT ;) Quote
jonfett Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 I cant even fit ONE ARC-170 in there right now... >:( Well, maybe you could get rid of some of your sets.. like your 3 y-wings, 2 AT-ATs, 99 ties? :P But man, I love your drawers! ;) I wish I could get something like that.. most of my collection is in re-sealable bags :/ Jon. The Middleman Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 How long did it take you to sort through all those!? Quote
Brickmaster Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Sorting takes a very long time. You must have put some real work into that sorting. Anyone is the US, or anywhere there is a wal mart, i found droors like that at wal mart. 5 bucks each! got three. not to mention finding a half price millineum falcon too ;) Quote
The Middleman Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 My Wal-Marts usually don't have anything (sales or new sets), but I'll give those drawers a shot. Thanks Brickmaster! Quote
Brickmaster Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 If you dont find them at walmart, just seach other stores. one of them is bound to have them Quote
takuto20 Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Hello everybody, new poster here (Hi from Spain! *satis* ). To me, keeping MISB sets makes no sense at all, because the whole point of it is building it, playing with it and quickly mix it with my other legos (I am a Town line fan, just came out after a long dark age, so there's not a lot of stuff yet). Oh, by the way, you guys think you have problems storing all that lego... what about moving it to another country? I am going to Taiwan at the end of the month and plan to bring most of my dear Lego!! :'( Quote
